According to the sportsbooks, Arkansas is still the better team which is why they opened up Saturday at (-120) and are still the favorite in today's game.

Rain delay is certain at 7:30pm.

LSU ain't playing tomorrow. Check the weather

Plus you add on rain the rest of the afternoon. They ain't playing tomorrow

I'm not a retard and know how to read a radar and weather report.

No way they play tomorrow with the weather forecast tonight and tomorrow

You win now because they're not playing tomorrow

There's at least a 60% chance of rain at 6pm tonight you stupid frick. Can you not read a radar and weather report?

But Arkansas aint playing because its going to rain.
quote:
Yes, it's going to rain the majority of the evening and night in Omaha.
quote:
LSU/UCLA may be the only game they get in today. Doesn't look good on the radar for Arkansas' chances of playing

Arkansas isn't getting a game in Tuesday night

Tell us again that LSU will start the world series on a Friday night....and then that lsu would not be playing last night due to weather. You have been spot on.
Posted on 6/18/25 at 9:46 am to LSBoosie
Not only that...remember when the idiot was arguing everyone that lsu would open the world series Friday night?

I think Arkansas has the advantage. LSU's lineup needs to come through.

Eyanson would pitches game 3? What happens when we dont make it to game 3?

But the pitchers available have all shown flashes against teams of this caliber, we just need several of them to do it all at the same time tonight, or for a couple do sustain it longer than they've had to previously.
no doubt
Just throw strikes. Arkansas will barrel some balls up, but it is tough to string hits together in that park against a good defense (which LSU has).
Unfortunately, strike throwing has at times evaded all the guys you are relying on today.
Just about every LSU championship has an unlikely pitching performance in the CWS. Let's get one tonight

Can't even make it to Finals if you don't win one of the next two. Evans is more than likely pitching game 2 after yesterday anyway. And again this is why winning tonight is so important.

You don't know Jay very well
Incorrect. Jay is not pitching Eyanson tonight. He even said yesterday we have the entire staff minus 3 guys. Those 3 are Eyanson, Evans, and Anderson. Eyanson would see a shutdown opportunity in tomorrow nights game not tonights.

Odds can be confusing, many people get them wrong.
Arkansas came in the higher seeded team, one loss to LSU may not change the perception Arky has the better squad. But even if Arky would be a 60% favorite to win each game individually, they would not be a 60% favorite to win both.
Statistically it would work like this:
Probability of winning the first game: 60% or 0.6.
Probability of winning the second game: 60% or 0.6.
Probability of winning both games: 0.6 * 0.6 = 0.36 or 36%.
So even though LSU might be a slight underdog in both games, They are still the favorite to win at least one. Of course if LSU loses the first, the odds change again. And baseball odds can move when pitchers are announced. If LSU loses tonight and then pitches Anderson the next day, LSU might be the favorite.

Defensively our Tigers are heads above Arkansas and have the stats to prove it.
I thought they said that Arkansas has the highest fielding percentage in the nation or maybe it was the sec.
either way that would make you incorrect.

After their 16 errors last night though, we may have a higher fld% now.

yeah I read the play by play after the game because I didnt watch it and two things stood out. they really are lucky that game wasn't tight down the stretch because holy shite they were air mailing throws and kicking it around. Secondly, we may need to put aloy on or be very very careful. he has awoken
Posted on 6/18/25 at 11:13 am to paper tiger
im sure they all realize that but ignored it because they want to argue
Posted on 6/18/25 at 11:29 am to skullhawk
All LSU pitchers no matter who it is, throw strikes. Remember when Shores could not find the plate, it made him awful. Now he throwing strikes and now he is unhittable

Arkansas will be favored to win it all if they win tonight?
Very likely they will be, their roster 1-30 is better than ours.
I’d be one sick pig if it’s obvious Jay gets more out of his roster than DVH.
