He’s appreciated but he ‘battles’ & ‘grinds’ due to his own faults. Thankfully doesn’t give up a ton of hits. But he puts himself in some bad jams with the HR, leadoff runners, and random BB/HBP

Hurd and Floyd both worry me.

Floyd has his wtf moments but for the most part he’s been very good and given lsu a chance to win every time out. Anybody who pitches after Paul Skenes is going to look like they aren’t very good. That’s an insane act to follow

Need Hurd to give us a solid 5-6 today,

I would be very satisfied with 3 innings from Hurd as long as they are fairly sharp. We have plenty of arms to piece together the rest.

Hurd has struggled the most while in the stretch. When he is in the wind up he tends to have his sharpest innings.

Little has struggled with the same. Hard to be a consistent reliever when you struggle with command from the stretch.

Herring was awesome last night. He's gotten a lot better than the guy I saw in the fall and spring. He picked up a couple of mph in velo from the fall.

Floyd has thrown 11.2 innings against 2 of the better offenses in the country the last 2 outings and only given up 5 runs. There aren’t many pitchers in college doing it.

He really impressed me after the 4th inning, when even the announcers thought he was done, he came out and pitched a stellar 5th. The guy keeps competing and that's what we need.

Shores was hurt last night. Looks like he is done for the year.
