i’m hoping they do well enough to get a regional but they won’t get a Super.

Time to start worrying about making the tournament. We have the makings of a good team, but I doubt the reinforcements get here in time to get a winning streak going. Labas, Smith, and Broussard will elevate this team, but will it be too late?

Personally, I'd like to see Labas replace Gilbert in the weekend rotation.

My nephew pitched for CPM - you would all easily recognize his name - and he had an interesting prediction on pitching.

He said don't be surprised if Hess is pulled from the starting rotation. He says it probably won't be Gilbert because he's too inconsistent to be relied on in the pen.

CPM would move Hilliard to Friday and use Hess to close it, if necessary. Gilbert goes Saturday with Hess to save it if the opportunity is there. If Gilbert shits the bed CPM starts Hess on Sunday.

If Hess is not available Sunday then Labas starts.

News: Bryce Jordan’s knee injury isn’t as severe as Paul Mainieri initially fears.

Sounds like it’s just a bad bone bruise and no tear. Far better news than the alternative

ever team loses players, but should not be a excuse, LSU always uses that when it comes to baseball. It all starts from head coach on down

In that case, I would think that would means Hilliard moves up a spot, with Labas possibly going on Sunday. We'll know tomorrow - as Gilbert only went 0.2 on Saturday, he could start against La Tech.

Let me know the other teams that have had their starting CF, 2b, and SS out for an extended period of time this year

We are 3rd in the west, one game out of 2nd
Smith might be back this weekend, and Broussard next weekend

Labas is our mid-week starter.

"Reid has a really good ob%" -basically saying he sucks tho

Reid has played amazing defense throughout the year has, got some solid hits, and not to mention he walks half of the time. I assure you he is not the problem.

He's batting .211 in SEC play and his defense is avg.
