What gets me is our backup running back is really really good and it's crazy to see how much better Fournett is than them.

He went from being our best playmaker last year to the best player in game this year.
One more after this season to. Dudes maybe 20! #BugaNation
And he has surpassed my hype.
You obviously never saw him play at St Aug in a HS league considered the best in the state filled with talent.
Rummel was the only team I saw stop him.

I remember all the stories about him in H.S., now he has truly lived up to them- He is the best player in American, a once in a generation player. With LSU's improved OL, he now can live up to that high school potential. Barring injury, should be a lock for Heisman this year...

I did not think he was going to be this good. It's unreal how good this guy is and to think that he should have had 330 rushing yards and 3 TDs this weekend after having 230 and 3 TDs the week before.
He's gotten better every game. And what's crazy about that is his worst game so far is a 160 yard, 3 TD game. Video game numbers.

agreed with Lester and SFP about hill. Honestly now I can see Fornette is a once in a decade back. He is improving ever game now.
he's a legit heisman contender, cannon won in 1959. he is a once in a lifetime player. If you are an LSU fan, and don't go see this kid in person, you will never get another chance to see someone this good at LSU.

On a side note. Another story allot of people may not know about LF7 is that after that Rummel game to go to state; Buga threw his helmet in disgust and refused to shake hands with the opposing team after the game.
The next day; he went to Rummel; addressed the entire student body and administration, apologized, and congratulated them. Heard the speech brought goose bumps to anyone there.
LF7 is the real deal on the field. More importantly he is the real deal off the field.
So excited we have a guy like this leading our team.

no i didn't. and that's not because i didn't have high expectations. he has been performing at a level that is not realistic to expect of anyone... ever.
i will also add - im very curious how he will be against Ole Miss, Bama, and other teams on our schedule. Regardless how he does in those games i believe he is the real deal and as advertised.

The simple answer is No. I find myself and the people around me constantly laughing and shaking their heads at how good he is. Enjoy the ride folks.

Honestly?
Nope! I didn't even understand the whole Michael Jordan comparison Miles made. But LF7 made me a believer.

I didn't think the O-line would be this good. Fournette is a special talent, but it's really showing because of the big guys upfront.

no doubt the o-line is great and filled with NFL talent, but what fournette does after he breaks through the line into the backfield has nothing to do with the line.

Have followed LSU football since 1956. To this day, I had never witnessed an LSU back do "all" of the things Cannon did (recalling 10-12 games with my father). That said, I've followed L Fournette since he first came on the recruit reviews. In pure power hard to compare due to my loss of "sight memory", but I go LF. As a kid, Cannon was the best I ever saw until now.
Last game in Tiger Stadium was 2011 vs AR. Health will prevent attending and bookending my life with the two best backs that ever graced a Tiger jersey.
Pure unadulterated fun watching Fournette on TV and listening to my grandkids go "WOW"!!

Check the record..I said he was a once in a lifetime back...and I give much of the praise to his parents...it's called the proper attitude!

Hell no.
He's inhuman.

I definitely did not expect him to be this good. We've been blessed with a done of great backs over the years, and I thought he'd be another of those (which is still saying a lot). But I didn't think he'd be this good, this fast.

From what was seen and said of him prior to playing, yes I expected what we are seeing.

I did not after I watched him last year.
He showed flashes of brilliance but this year it's been a constant ray of black hole sun (won't cha come, won't cha come).
