The money we are missing out on by sucking in basketball far outweighs the buyout nonsense you are spewing.

We should worry about Men's Basketball before fringe sports.
Thats not disrespectful for Softball for the meek soft easily offended. Basketball is more impactful.

LSU athletics needs to make the decision (like Stanford): Be competitive/ultra-competitive in a LOT of sports or be competitive in the BIG 3 sports (football, basketball, baseball). LSU has committed to football and baseball and women's basketball. I think they could/should do better. Men's basketball is down, Women's softball is Mediocre, Women's volleyball is mediocre. Fix those 3 and I'm good. Mediocrity is something LSU athletics should try and steer away from - in all sports. Starts w the Athletic Director and his/her vision for the future of LSU athletics.

I’m sure she is a good person, but she has trouble recruiting. Seems to only gets second line players no game changes it’s time for a change

unfortunately we are stuck i believe. fans have clamored for her to be fired for years now and nothing has happened. We just spent a fortune on football, coaches, NIL, buyouts in progress.......
and now we have to fix another Scott Woodward screw up as we need to be firing McMahon and replace his sorry arse.

1) while it may be a "niche" sport. many here coach this sport and have daughters or other family who played or play now so they care and love the sport.
2) A shitload of money has been dumped into this program. Beth gets paid well. If this were a normal private sector job she would have been terminated years ago.

Earlywhine wouid be the only coach I would hire if Verge makes a change. I think you ride it out until 2028 and let’s see where we are at..hire a pitching coach get the next two classes in and then reassess at that point

I’ve argued and heard every excuse as to why Beth Torina doesn’t win big at LSU. I just don’t care anymore and pointing out she isn’t going anywhere with her buyout.
She’s never had a disastrous season anyway so maybe she deserves another shot. But I don’t blame anyone who couldn’t care less. I quit following closely years ago

Yes but McCellarDweller, is making 2.1 mill$ more than Beth. Plus McCantWin is in the only other sport that makes money Thanks to other teams in revenue sharing. We are now in basketball the Vanderbilt football of the 90s. Good God put him out of misery- if McLoser was a horse we would take him behind the barn and shoot him.
