It’s Peyton Todd, not “those guys”. Ramos has been kicking field goals and Roy hasn’t fricked up that I can remember.

NFL lineman at both tackles but we aren’t athletic enough to run a screen? Every team runs this with immensely less talented players. Incredible
watch the presser.
he broke it down a lot farther than just the linemen.
he put most of the emphasis on calling the screen at the right time than he did on the linemen.
he also brought up the new rules that don’t allow Linemen to cut block in space anymore.
then it comes down to the linemen themselves.
and you need them to be really quick at getting upfield.
which some linemen can do, others can’t.
not every big bastard that can block can also move fast upfield.

That, along with his response of "we've got to coach better," doesn't inspire a lot of confidence going forward.
Every single coach says this after a loss. Saban did, Miles, Orgeron - every single one of them.
Go listen to others. You can hear that every Sunday

Wtf else do slade Roy, Todd, and Ramos do then if they don’t practice wtf is that bullshite?

Wouldn’t you have to actually attempt outside run plays to have an extension of them?

this is why you should watch the actual presser instead of just reading the tidbits and guessing at the rest.
the full statement was that it’s not something you typically work on during the off week.
not that they typically don’t work on it at all

I'm not buying these words. I get BK has been coaching at a high level for years and he has been moderately successful. However, to say your O-line is not quick/mobile enough to run screens in my opinion is a cop-out. He knew who these guys were last year. In one entire off-season there was no repetitive work performed to counter the lack of quickness/mobility? C'mon man,
BK you're a professional. Build on n your strengths and consistently work on your weaknesses.
Imo, this offense lacks creativity and the ability to adjust on the fly. I get not running Nuss to avoid injuries, however, the occasional RPO with the QB run would help LSU's offense become more of an issue for the opposition and help the somewhat inept run game.

It’s a recap of the game, that makes a ton of sense. What are you talking about?

Garrett Dellinger has a high ankle sprain. Hoping this week becomes a recovery week for him

The main thing that concerns me is the Special Teams units not being able to execute the snap and hold. Our defense not being able to adapt and adjust and stop QB runs or Zone Read. And lastly not being able to run screens or run the ball. That means our interior offensive line is a weak link and that is concerning for 3 year starters at guard. DJ Chester should get better with experience since this is his first year starting.

To be fair, the athleticism of the guards is much more important in the screen game than the tackles. Also, being a great pass blocking line does not always equate to being the most agile.

LSU would love to run screens, they just aren't good at it. Hinted that LSU's linemen aren't quick or mobile enough to be super effective at it
I’ve been screaming about this from day 1. Our OL excels at only 1 thing……..pass protection………..except on those pass plays where our O lineman gets BLOWN UP, pushed 4 yds deep into the backfield and steps on his own QB’s ankle in the process.
