No way a 2 loss Georgia gets ahead of a 2 loss LSU in any scenario.

the rose bowl turns into an At Large bid

I have not read or heard anything about the rose bowl turning into an at large bid bowl. I think it’s pac vs big10 no matter what. Even if it’s two 3-4 loss teams.

Unless forced by the NCAA, the Rose Bowl will pick two 6-6 teams from the Big10 and Pac12 before going outside of those 2 conferences.

The Rose Bowl is the only one really demanding to keep those conference affiliations.

PAC-12 is likely on the outside looking in :

Bama
Clemson
Notre Dame
Big10 or 12 champion

Most likely scenario!!

BCS Bowls don't have to take the highest ranked team just because they're ahead in the pecking order. They pick the team they want, taking into account ticket sales, how well a fan base travels, distance, tv revenue, program prestige, etc.

This is completely outdated and 100% incorrect. It is now solely based on ranking outside of the automatic qualifiers in the Sugar and Rose. And even those are still decided based on highest ranking team, but from whichever conference has the tie in.

"LSU cannot go to the Cotton Bowl unless as a playoff team vs Alabama (unless they are upset by Ga). Notre Dame is in the playoff even with a loss to USC."

Notre Dame will not make the playoff if they lose to USC.

I disagree. A 2 loss Georgia that lost a close game to Bama in the SECCG will be 11-2. Some committee members could value that more than LSU's 10-2 record even though LSU beat them soundly head to head.

Very little chance for this scenario. Texas is in as long as they beat Kansas and the loser of OU-WVU is out.

WVU won't play in the Big 12 championship if they lose. Ohio State at that point would play in the rose bowl unless they are selected for the playoff. If that happens then Michigan would go to the Rose Bowl.
