Yea I mean kind of, we'd only beaten Bama once in the last decade and have only went to Atlanta 6 times in program history prior to last year. Those are pretty big stepping stones in year one coming off two disaster seasons and a handicapped roster
Why are you comparing this LSU program to anything other than what it's always been? Solidly 9-10 win team that has the potential to pop once every 5-6 years.

If he was able to win the West with a depleted roster, was it really a depleted roster, or a convenient excuse for getting outcoached?
Which has happened a couple of times now.
Some of y'all act like this program hadn't won a championship in decades, or is in talent poor state, or competes with other in state P5 or SEC schools for athletes.

Yeah man, our roster was and is so stacked that we haven’t had to litter the depth chart with transfer portal players the previous 2 seasons.
Some of y’all dislike the hire so much that y’all are rooting for him to lose.

Serious question: At what point does Brian Kelly stop getting a free pass for losing games & getting blown out because he took over a program with 37 scholarship players? Apparently 8 games into year 2 isn't long enough. Does that go away next year? Or does he get to use this lame arse excuse indefinitely?
