He doesn’t think they need to change the philosophy when scheduling week 1 games. Winning an opener 73-0 doesn’t give the team much benefit.
What does Brian Kelly know about winning week 1 games?
Man I’m really starting to get fed up with this guy.

Analytics don’t mean squats since there’s only two final outcomes
You have to make the right tactical decision during the specific moment of the game

Give them more "work" or bench them and maybe then they'll control their emotions.
Exactly. If you make them ride the bench then suddenly their emotions will magically start being held in check. Actions need consequences.

This is code for: Hilton and Parker are going to be out for a few games minimum.
He mentioned that Parker is doubtful for this week. My concern is that they have spent the past 2 years getting him ready and it wasn’t enough for him to see snaps on Sunday, I’m not sure how much improvement will be made over the next 2 weeks.
Edit for those not following the thread: this is in reference to BK saying that they need to get Sampson ready to play.

Parker got hurt on the very first possession after catching a ball on the screen at the goal line…

Did you miss that he was hurt in the game?

Motion into a spread formation and run counters every now and then.
If defenses do not respect the motion, Nuss need to pull the ball and throw. If they do honor the motion, let Jackson run.
We literally did this several times.

Bootleg the QB, my gosh they begged Nuss to run the ball

However, all offseason we read about how the running game was going to look different this year (more counters, traps, etc.) to make up for the loss of JD. Instead, what we got Sunday night was the same old bland running game with some terrible blocking by the O-line and TEs.
Did you watch the game?
We ran GT counter. We ran the counter where jus the T pulls. We ran outside and inside zone. We ran outside zone toss. Just because you didn't notice it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Edit to add- I'm pretty sure our longest run came on counter.

I would implement an RPO concept because if the defense lied about 7 in the box and the LBs back up then that's a free 4 yds

Why did you blow right by the first lie? just asking.

Well...there is a benefit right there...

Does he know this was also another press conference?
Bold strategy cotton, let’s see how this works out for him.

LSU fans thinking they can do better than the HC. A tale as old as time

We are on the same page. The Internet has boosted peoples egos to an unrecognizable level. It’s fricking laughable
But if anyone tries to reel that person in we get called ‘positigers’ or an old man telling people to get off their lawns
