He's a true freshmen. It happens. He got the experience. He'll be poised for a bigger year next year.

Check-out Brown's bio and story. Mr. Baseball in LA, turned down the Rangers after they drafted him as a lefty Pitcher, came to LSU (life long dream). Prior to this year, pitched and played mostly first base his entire life. Extremely athletic...will be a position player and Pitcher of all-american caliber at LSU, then leave as a first - second round draft pick. He had zero errors all season and is learning the outfield...it's a big adjustment even for his caliber of athlete. I'd score the ball to RF a double. The ball was spinning and moving from his right-to-left toward the foul line, it looked like he lost it in the artificial lighting and there is that weird opening in the fence where people were right next to him screaming. An opening in the fence like that complicates tracking a ball to the wall. He has tremendous eye-hand coordination and in not getting his glove on the ball, I think the lighting played a major role.

They lost tonight because they didn't produce more than 3 runs in 10 innings against a make-shift pitching effort. 0-5 with RISP. Of course, Brown homered in the game.

he play OF in highschool? He doesn’t look comfortable at all in the OF he also miss played the ball on first inning

Can't keep rotating the OF. RF plays different than LF.

Why wasn't King in RF anyways? He's played there this year already.

No one is saying "coddle". But there are some on here like really shitting on this kid. I guarantee you he feels worse than all of you right now. The players in that locker room don't blame him for shite. They're picking him up. It sucks yes, but some of you guys on her saying some of the things you are about him the way you are really need to gain some perspective in life. Getting on his Instagram page saying stuff to him. I swear if anyone is threatening him, they should be put in jail or called out for their bullshite.
