Hopefully Joe Brady can develop QB’s
What makes you think Brady coaches quarterbacks? He doesn't. He's not a quarterback whisperer.

Good stuff. Appreciate it.

I hear ya..
That was kinda my intention though. I see tons of guys on here claiming they have all kinda “sauces” and have been at practices. Figured they’d know something but I guess they’re just at the practices to talk to Emily Dixon. Lol

Most offensive coordinators have enough sense and initiative to take an interest and study/learn about the position that is head of your schematic attack.
That’s like being head of a company and hiring a guy to execute the plans you have for your company and not having any education or insight on what that guy has to do and how he could be better...
come on man.. common sense.
He doesn’t have to be a quarterback whisperer to help a QB develop.
I’ve never coached a QB but I’m a lineman and bringing these grunts up out here has taught me that when you’re teaching somebody to do a stressful/tedious job, you gotta tend to their head even more than their skill set. Teaching them the knowledge is the easy part. It’s HOW I teach them that makes the difference. I treat em like a bunch a idiots, they’re gonna work like a bunch a idiots.
So what I’m getting at is, if you’ve got the knowledge to scheme against top tier defenses, you can pass that down to the QB and now they can read defenses on the field. And the technique that a QB has to learn is not very extensive.
It seems to be HOW you teach em and motivate them to WANT to prefect those techniques and learn MORE from you about defenses.
Treat em like a bunch a idiots they’re not going to have any confidence. And instead of thinking about learning and getting better they’re just gonna be thinking about how bad they suck and how they should t be playing in the sec and sulking all the dam time.. then they’re never going to be great.
So. Maybe now you see that Brady is definitely going to be a major part of our QB’s developmental process and maybe you have a little insight on leadership too.
But I’d guess you’re like most other people in today’s society and are too close minded to listen and learn. You’ll just make some silly reason why I’m wrong and you’ll continue missing the point.

I think they're more concerned with developing Brennan right now. If Parish has to red shirt so be it.

He has potential but it’s a few years away

Parish will be a good QB, u guys need to give him time to mature !

I don't have high hopes for Parish. Great athlete, okay QB. I hope I'm wrong and he's fantastic.
Myles has the talent to start, but doesn't seem to have that competitive drive that Burrow has to carry the team to a National Championship. Should be good enough for 10 win seasons with talent around him.
Myles will start for 2 years, and we have 2 QB's in this recruiting class + will bring in at least 1 more next year so Parish will have the upper-hand from time in the system, but it's really anyone's guess how they develop.

Based on what I’ve seen I predict Johnson plays before Finley. I have nothing to base that on other than the film I’ve seen. In the film I’ve seen of Finley he is not at all in sync with his receivers. Too many missed throws and dropped passes. I’m not sure if he is the problem or his supporting cast is the problem but his film was not overly impressive from an execution standpoint. The film I’ve seen of Johnson looked pretty good. Granted, it was a highlight film. However, Johnson just look much more deliberate and in sync with his receivers. Personally, I don’t care which QB starts next year. Whichever QB has it together between the ears and can most closely duplicate what Joe Burrow is doing is the one that needs to play.

I think the fanbase is confused after having a very good quarterback performing in a system designed for him to succeed. They don't know how to handle it, as previously we'd have calls for the backup to get into the games and take over.
Perhaps now, the new most popular player on the team is the backup's backup.

I don't ever see him being a starter.
I could definitely see him becoming part of some packages in the next few years like we wanted to do with Narcisse before he bolted. We haven't seen a whole lot of it just yet, but Brady loves him some wrinkles. Parrish would bring an entirely different element than Brennan, and would be somewhat more seasoned than the underclassmen coming in.
Inevitably, I don't think Parrish hangs around. Tulane will be very interested, and I'm perfectly okay with us feeding the LA teams around us.
