I'm sure there's a insterstate rest area you can pitch a tent in.

I've never stayed at a campground that didn't have showers, and I've done lots of camping in my lifetime.

Josh,

Very nice shower stalls. It's a well kept campground. If I recall, its $15/night plus $3 for each additional person camping.

So it was $18 for us.

Does anyone remember the story from three or four years ago about the old redneck from Mississippi who was sleeping in the back of his truck(with campershell) near the stadium?
I don't remember all of the details, but he was traveling in the area and had scene that Miss St.(I think that was his team) was in Omaha and he decided to just camp for a while.
Kind of had his story picked up by the local media and I think one of the local reporters up there let the guy come shower and sleep at his house one night.

they're not..and thats kind of a drawback..all the RV's and Campers encircle the tent campsites.
About 90% of the people out there are for the CWS, and everyone waves their flags.
It seemed every night we'd get it, an RV had a fire going a few people would gather around, have a few beers and discuss that day's games.

We had our LSU flag waving on our tent, so people expected us to be drinking at the crack of down on gamedays

haha...when I went, it works out perfectly having the night game if you get GA tickets.

Get out there about noon or earlier, bring ice chests and chairs, set-up shop in the GA line by the left field corner..You'll be the first in line for the night game after the let in everyone in line for the 1pm game..get 1st row seats, right above the 375 sign...can't beat it!

That sucks.. I plan on going to most, if not all non-LSU games... Hopefully I'll get the reserved student tix I requested from LSU. And hopefully they don't check the ID that closely cuz it ain't me

everyone waits in line along the sidewalk, and tons of people tailgate in the grass b/t the sidewalk and stadium..we just chatted it up w/ them and agreed to keep an eye on their stuff during the 1st game while they went and they obliged by letting us set our ice chest by their tailgate spot.
