I never said it was crazy. I think we get there. I predicted 23-7 I think in Adams thread. I feel great about that. What’s crazy is saying the number is the end all be all for disappointment. If we win the sec at 19 wins, I won’t care about 20 at all. It would be rare but it’s crazy to be married to 20.
Coward.

I wasn’t asking for them to be brought up Rick. God Dammit.

And there's a better chance LSU wins more than 20.
We may win more than 20, but there’s not “a better chance” that we do than don’t. You seem to be another fan that sees this LSU team and compared its talent to previous LSU teams without realizing that other SEC teams are more talented than they’ve been previously as well. Because of the transfer portal, the extra COVID year and NIL to a lesser extent, more teams are hoarding more talent than ever before.
I said this in another thread, but I think it bares repeating. If we win the SEC and/or the CWS, it will be because we actually went out there and did the damn thing, not just because Jay filled out a lineup card with a bunch of future pros every day. There are several other SEC coaches who will be filling out lineups with future pros too, all capable themselves of doing the damn thing.
I just think these expectations of winning the SEC and/or the CWS or the season was a failure or disappointment—by the fans, it’s what I want from the players— takes away from the achievements if we actually do wind up winning championships. Like we only won because of the talent Jay accumulated rather than those guys actually going out and making the big plays, the big pitches, and getting the big hits in the pressure-filled, do-or-die situations that it will take to do it.

Coward? I also predicted Milazzo hitting 0.240.

Anything more than 8 losses in conference with this team, will be a disappointment
So you’ll be upset with 21-9 and a 1 seed and SEC title? Lol

I saw. I think that prediction resulted in Lester Earl posting you are an idiot using other words about 45 times in that thread. You want Milazzo to be Tyson Ross so bad.
You just love catchers. I seem to recall you had outsized expectations for Snikeris, too.

24-6 maybe
they’ll probably have 4 or more sweeps

I think my favorite rant prediction thread was a million years ago when Kyle Koeneman transferred here from Blynn Diesel Mechanic and Florist Academy with 50 career homers in a park that was 225 ft down the lines or something. No one had ever seen him play, of course, but he was going to be if Matt Clark highlandered Furniss and Blake Dean.
He went on to play 4 games for LSU.

IMO, whether we win 20 or more or less than 20 will be determined by our ability to hit top pitching. If we can go 6-3 in these first three series, we will get to at least 20 SEC wins.

at A&M (12-4) - Sweep
Arkansas (13-2) - 2 of 3
Tennessee (14-3) - 2 of 3
at USC (16-1) - 2 of 3
Kentucky (14-2) - 2 of 3
at Ole Miss (14-2) - Worst Case Scenario 1 of 3
Alabama (15-2) - Sweep
at Auburn (12-3) - Sweep
State (11-5) - Sweep
at Georgia (12-4) - 2 of 3
That would have us at 23 - 7 in the SEC. Which is pretty doable

What's crazy is the program he came from (Walters State in East Tennesse) is kind of a factory. The bats that come out of there seem to be more fools gold than anything though. The pitchers seem to have more success at the D1 level.
And Koeneman was over a decade ago, but it's still largely the same with Walters State.

These 40’s temp and 15mph wind gusts blowing in this weekend is already giving me anxiety

Didn't we have like exactly one grainy video of him hitting a HR down the left field line? 2010 wasn't that long ago but was also like a billion years ago.

1-2 this weekend in a C-O-L-D and windy Scott Olsen Field should be considered success. It would have been even in the Bertman era.
That would not be a success. It would be understandable because A&M has a good team and Schlos has had our number, it seems. None of that makes losing a series a success. It will be cold for them, too.
He loves Biden and his policies so you have to understand who you are replying to. He thinks this administration is successful.

Anything less than 30-0 and Woodward should be fired.
Am I doing it right?

Yes we are good enough to do that, and in today's hyper-competitive SEC 20-10 would totally take care of business.
