the bastards are systematically doing everything possible from the price increases to this to make LSU football a corporate event all based on the almighty dollar. I have 15 tickets and have since 1976, am a letterman and have grow more and more tired of all this. The thing is it does not matter to the administration and that is the sad part. This is just ANOTHER part of Bertmans legacy.

cry me a river. It's simple supply and demand. Your solution wouldn't allow LSU to compete with other SEC schools. We're not doing anything that the are schools aren't already doing. I could almost understand someone with 2 tickets complaining, but 15? Sorry, don't feel sorry for you one bit.

Does anyone have a post game map? Specifically I need to know if Nicholson is 2 way going toward campus and away from campus if you are coming from the Government St area after the game or is it all one way going toward Government?

I'm fine with the new rules. Hell I don't think you should even be allowed on campus unless you have a ticket in hand.
Parking is so fricked because of all the people who go just to get drunk and party that have no intention of going to the game.

it looks like the great tradition of lsu is going to wayside -- we had better wake up before it is gone

I also got the same e-mail and call from Herb Vincent... All should be fine... He assured me that everything will be the same as previous years... We shall find out for sure in 10 days...

There are no changes to the control points to campus or the time that those control points go into effect. The control of the inner campus is an existing policy that was emphasized in the press release to discourage vehicles without permits from attempting to drive through campus on game days.
If there are no changes to the time the control points go into effect, what's the 7 am provision about?

They (LSU) are going to be more strict which is bad news for people who are anywhere near the Indian Mounds/Broussard/Fieldhouse.

So say we park along South Stadium Dr on the street, not far from Highland. No parking pass needed to park where we do. We just park along the street and stake out a spot where we can find one. Obviously we're always there fairly early, but not before 7 am. So does that change for this year or not?

Like someone mentioned before. The block on S Stadium was at Tureaud Hall/Forestry Lane. If they are planning on setting the block at Tower Dr this WILL be a change. It won't be a huge deal for me either way, I'm usually there early because there are very few free spots and most of our crew is there by 9:00. It would be nice to have some clarification though.

For the convenience of LSU fans, four comfort stations will be available between 8 a.m. and midnight on gameday. Locations are: West Stadium Lot (NW corner); Old Alex Box Stadium (Nicholson Drive at Skip Bertman Drive); ROTC Lot (grass area); and CEBA (West Parking lot, North end).
Anyone know what these are?

Seriously, if he did have something to do with this and the new "no standing" policy in Tiger Stadium, then he's sure as hell not making himself a lot of friends in the LSU community. The man comes here from a school with absolutely no football tradition and proceeds to start monkeying around with ours.
