Those highlights were from his junior year. The Rivals video from the Alabama-Mississippi All Star practices shows his arm is much stronger now and there wasn't any wobble on the ball either.

He didn't look as good as I thought he would after reading the OP. The ball leaves his hand pretty nice but he seemed to always throw off his back foot too much. I also didnt see him thread the needle too much. He looked to be hitting wide open guys. I also noticed he never really hit guys in stride, in the sec you have to hit guys on the money. I also don't think his running ability will be affective at the next level, and he will have to remain in the pocket and set his feet. But like yall say he is pretty raw. I was just looking for better from a coaches son and an all pros brother. Tho I do believe that with his time as a backup he can improve greatly and hopefully shine for us one day.

He is a high school kid and he isn't perfect!! He can't do everything just right!
We are fu cking DOOMED
Thanks Kevin and all the others that are so quick to jump in there and pick apart that kid. I say we pull the scholly. He isn't perfect so LSU made a mistake signing him.
I appreciate all the perfect fans pointing out his flaws. I might have just sat back and watched him develop and play at LSU in complete darkness regarding his many faults. Now I know that he is fatally flawed. Thanks guys.
it is really great that this venue is full of ex-college QB coaches eager to make sure that Rivers gets a good reception to the demensia that is the Rant.
Why wait until he actually enrolls when the rantardoes can start picking him apart NOW?
God help him if he shows up late for his prom.

Mr. Cents that is exactly what I am saying. You are right and I am wrong but you surly didnt score well on the reading comprehension part of you SAT. Because if you comprehend what I said you would know that I was jus saying I'm not impressed with him at this CURRENT time, and that he will get coached up and hopefully be a great qb for us in the coming years. Did you understand that?
