LSU along with every other program in the country is trying to compete with them and coming up short. We’re not the only one having to deal with this.

LSU is coming up WAYYYY short. Georgia was very close to beating them twice in the last two years. Auburn did beat them last year. There's no reason we can't be competitive in that game. We've been outscored 39-0 the two times we've played them with Ensminger calling plays.

I'm not saying we have to beat them. We just need to show that we are capable of beating them, which we haven't done in a long time.

What's dumb about it?

Care to tell me the difference between criticizing coaches and criticizing players?

Do you think the coaches just go out and not teach technique or try to put them in positions to be successful?

Maybe they don't teach it well enough. Maybe they don't do a good job of holding the players accountable.

At what point are they at fault, in your opinion? Ever?

Vegas predicted 7-5

We went 9-3

I think We were as good as they thought we’d be, but they were way off on Auburn and Miami.

The shitty punt on 4th yesterday was awful. Not reviewing the first TD was awful.

I bitch and complain a lot off the board about some of he decisions made, but I don’t run here and call him shrimp boat captain and Special Ed becuase he’s got this team playing fairly well in a year when everyone on tv and here expected barely 7 wins.

E’s offense has been pedestrian at times but I think it can work with an experienced QB that’s been in the system for more than 4 months and WRs that have been playing for more than 6 months in these young WRs. I don’t think Dillon is very good becuase he can’t separate from anyone. Jefferson was the WR corps only saving grace. And why Sullivan didn’t have 200 yards receiving yesterday is beyond me. They couldn’t stop the guy. He was 2x bigger than everyone they had on the field. Drives me crazy that they’re so married to the run in the middle. While I bitch about all that, Burrow still had 400 yards passing.

There’s flashes in that offense and if they had an OL that wasn’t terrible, Burrow would have pockets and time and it would give those WR to separate and make plays.

I’m hoping they improve next year and we see more wrinkles

How’s that for thinking the coaches are perfect?

FWIW, I don't do that either. The name calling is juvenile.

I think you're overselling the OL problems and underselling flaws that Burrow has, but I too want a dynamic offense.

My complaint - and one I've said forever, unfortunately - is that teams with FAR less talent than LSU put up dynamic offenses on a regular basis. Why we make playing QB so difficult is beyond my comprehension.

There isn't much, and honest criticism has never been a problem, but that's not what you said. You said,

quote:

fricking frauds.
So much wrong with this. First, bashing should never be allowed, player or coach. Second, what do you even mean by throwing a group under the bus? There's nothing wrong with honest criticism of a player or unit. If the OL played poorly as a unit, anyone should be able to point that out.

Lol, so you think having 4 top 10 teams on our schedule had nothing to do with our preseason predictions, and half of those teams being terrible had nothing to do with our actual season?

Sure thing, buddy.

frick no but that’s not my problem that they got all 3 teams wrong.

You said “I think We were as good as they thought we’d be”

How does that make sense in your head? And why would you even try and defend the fact that they had LSU at 7 wins with saying something stupid?

That doesn’t pardon bad predictions you moron. You’re talking about how they misrepresented other teams but fail to realize they were totally wrong about LSU.

The lack of self awareness in this comment is staggering

I don’t recall a single thread or post from some disappointed or angry the team won, there were however literally hundreds of threads, like this one trying to rub on the face of other fans because they didn’t like the hire, so who exactly is emotional?

There's no doubt the ream outperformed expectations.

Now, next year the expectations will be much higher.

They thought we would have issue on offense and a good defense but that we had 4 teams on the schedule that completely out matched us, and would drop anotherone along the way.

2 of those teams that were supposed to out match us just outright sucked.

Yes we beat UGA but we dropped 2 others along the way.

If you look at our record, if Miami and Auburn actually are top 10 teams, maybe we are 7-5

But they are a 7-6 and an 8-5 team.

My point was that they were more off on Miami and Auburn, than US.
