Here are the players I know played football in HS, regardless of their injury status:

Beck
DiGiacomo
Walker
Beloso
Bianco
Hill

I think Willis did as well.

This is not comprehensive, it's just who I could remember off the top of my head.

Small highschool?

I love the kid but he doesn’t exactly look like a football player

Garza played linebacker in HS. He was also on the swim team.

Chris Reid was three-time all state as a punter for St. Michael.

Nick Storz played tight end and defensive end in high school.

Trent Veitmeier lettered in four high school sports (baseball, football, basketball, golf) and was an all-conference football defensive end.

Riggs Threadgill played quarterback for his high school football team.

Easton McMurray played quarterback/wide receiver for the football team during his freshman year of high school.

Wow. I’m pretty damn surprised. Would’ve never guessed it but now that you say it I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it mentioned during broadcasts

Walker’s high school football stats

He threw for over 5,000 yards in high school. And 41 touchdowns.

Yes he can.

Mainieri has said several times he likes to recruit football players because football makes a player tougher. He used to say Mikie Mahtook played baseball with a football mentality.
