I would love your proof on this. Because I know damn well that South Carolina team that ran them off their home court is not a more talented team than LSU’s with or without Thomas.
I know NIL is important, but when McMahon’s teams look exactly the same and make the same mistakes every single season, there is one common denominator.

I agree with your post in that this team is good enough to be a 7-10 seed in the tournament. But they aren't even on the bubble anymore. Had Thomas not gotten injured, they may very well be 16-4 (4-3) right now if the A&M, South Carolina, and Kentucky games go the other way.
They didn't.
If this team has any shot of getting back into the tournament picture they will have to win out at home and beat South Carolina on the road to get to 8-10 in the SEC. That involves winning their next 4 games.

If you know anything about basketball, you know his offensive sets are pathetic.. it looks like AAU ball… 2 people in each corner , and a high ball screen… that’s the offense 80% of the time.

I will give it to him. Despite having the least success of any LSU basketball coach in 60 years he’s been able to inspire a dedicated few to believe “greatness” is just one game away…for 4 years
