Because we want to become a impoverished community college.....most here think that college is place for left wing indoctrination, not a place where science, engineering, math and technology are taught.
They want to teach their kids to be fitters and welders not to be the next generation of scientists , doctors and engineers.

Ive been for the marching competition. My youngest was Rayne High drum major the past two years. We enjoyed it.

McNeese was hit hard by hurricane. A lot of engineering firms in area provide co op jobs for students. Son worked 2 of them while there. Had a job paying 105k as soon as he graduated.
