Wade was caught on the phone, not Smart. That's what people seem to be forgetting here. It's much easier for Smart to deny.

They had a fricking meeting set up last Friday with the AD and F. King. Then this cocksucker James Williams got involved and was going to bring the NCAA into the room as well. Any attorney worth his salt would tell you to not go into that room without an attorney and without knowing the questions beforehand.
I do not blame Will Wade for not meeting either as he would have hanged himself by doing that.

He should be cleared, but LSU isn't smart enough to realize how clearing Smart and not Wade makes zero sense.

It’s been a joint investigation all the while. That’s why LSU said the NCAA would be there. One party cannot interview Wade without the other party to clear anyone. The ball’s in Wade’s court, as it always was.

He is innocent until proven guilty. They can't prove him guilty so yes by that standard he is innocent.

He didn’t lie, dumbass. The first leak was about the FSU player. Nothing more has come out about that player or from that conversation.
The second leak was about smart. He more likey than not, did not know of additional conversations being wire tapped.
He has said he and Dawkins did not do any business. He never said they did not have conversations. That is a big difference.
