Wade and Petino were both far worse than Dale Brown. On the stupidity scale, I wondered if anyone could surpass Petino, but Wade is the leader in the clubhouse.

That's the problem. Dale occasionally had very good runs in the NCAA Trny which gave us fans hope it could happen any year, as long as we didn't have too much talent. Lol. Wade didn't do that, and they hate it

Exactly. What a subject to argue over : "who was the dirtiest HC, D.Brown or W.Wade ? " I look at both of them the same way I look at EWE's yrs of corruption: does anyone believe that the only laws he broke were the ones he went to Fed. prison for? I have no doubt both Brown & Wade broke a lot more NCAA rules than has come out to date. I could care less who was the dirtiest. Both hurt LSU.

Dale was ahead of his time when it comes to how he tried to take on the NCAA. Had he done that today, he just might have had enough support from other coaches and schools to bring the whole thing down.
