That's not even the point.
Notre Dame certainly COULD have tried to match LSU's offer. Michigan State preemptively gave Tucker a higher contract than what Kelly got, and I'm sure Notre Dame has more resources than MSU.
Kelly didn't give them the chance to do so.
He'd been there a decade, knew exactly what he was going to be able to put on the field at Notre Dame, and he didn't play the bidding game. He took LSU.

Orlovsky is the worst tv football personality there is.
Some guys make a living with outrageous and questionable takes. Dan’s bread and butter is just being a complete dumbass to get spiked on.

He is a meathead. You can see it in his eyes, that elevator does not go all the way to the top. I do not see how people can watch these screaming head shows.

I was watching Orlovsky get owned by Stephen A and Spears yesterday. Dan would insert stupid argument. Spears and/or Stephen A with something like "does LSU have more talent year in/out than Notre Dame", and sheepishly Dan would say, "Yes, they do". And then try to talk about how ND is a better team again.
