Woodward unfairly catches a lot of the blame on the Jimbo situation at A&M.
The problem with Jimbo at A&M was not the initial 10 year $75 million contract signed in December 2017.
It was the 10 year extension the A&M Board of Regents gave Jimbo prior to the 2021 season, long after Woodward was gone.
Woodward's job was to bring the horse to water, which he did at both A&M and LSU.
