You are exactly right. People are always second guessing our coaches in regards to playing time for certain players, but more often than not, our coaches reasoning proves to be correct.

mayock has him as his 4th TE
Won't stay that way if he keeps dropping balls. He looks like sheit at the combine

I think its a reach saying hes the 4th TE picked

This TE class is mostly made up of oversized wide receivers. The times that these guys are putting up are ridiculous. Saints need to draft a TE in this class.

DP was not too impressive.

I still think Dlo Peterson is afraid to take a hit.

Plus Chase was a beast taking out LBs in the running game.

and a 4.65 40 won't be enough to make up for his lack of size. He really needed to get under 4.6 @ 6'3, 243.
his combine numbers are really good. That wont keep him from being undfrafted. But his college performance will
how fast do you think people that big run? Besides Vernon Davis, of course.

but he dropped a lot of balls

L
Ladarius Green and James Hanna ran pretty well and bigger than Deangelo.

im talking historically.
guys like aaron hernandez, ed dickson, tony moeaki, lance kendricks, fred davis, jermichael finley, etc etc
4.65 is a pretty damn solid time for someone that size.

Yeah, TE have been non-existent in the passing game for LSU for as long as I can remember.
Que?
Richard Dickson was only here 4 seasons ago.

He's had a rough combine, WTF are talking about? Dude dropped a bunch of passes today.

His college performance was underwhelming to say the least and a 4.65 40 for a small TE is not impressive enough to get him drafted.

He was only the 5th fastest TE today, out of 10 TE who ran. In this combine alone...
James Hanna (6'3, 3/4", 252) - 4.42
Ladarius Green (6'5 3/4", 238) - 4.47
Michael Egnew (6'5 1/8", 252) - 4.53
Evan Rodriguez (6'1 1/2", 239) - 4.56
Like I said, a 4.65 doesn't do anything to help him considering his lack of production and mediocre hands along with lack of size.

Just said official is 4.76. Where u getting these numbers from?
Watching espn, says 4.76. That is terrible.
I dont think he gets drafted and people will come on here and blame the coaches and jefferson.

They adjust the times after a while. The times he posted were the unofficial times on tv that have since been adjusted
ETA just goes to show you how different times can be depending in whose doing it
ULLs TE for example, ran like a 4.8 unoficially but then the official time was a 4.5
