Apparently TVs are only high def in Baton Rouge, that’s the excuse I get why people don’t go to the games, TVs are better.
LSU football on tv is in high definition but it doesn’t look good. The defense looks ok for the most part but we put an ugly offense on the field. This started before O. It is unrealistic to fire the entire offensive staff so it will take a Tua type QB to open it up again. I don’t watch the entire games anymore so I can understand why people leave the stadium.
Are the early exits costing the school money? Is building a rail line to LSU feasible? Trains in Louisiana could be amazing with our celebratory culture. San Francisco and DC sports don’t suffer the same early exit woes. I haven’t spent enough time in any other areas to make a comparison.

You are truly the loser.

It’s fricking frustrating how corporate things have become.
This! You have to pay to park unless you want to walk miles to the stadium, pay to tailgate, pay for the game and terrible concessions. Then after all of that, get ready to wait 2 hours to get off campus after the game. Fans could be a little more supportive, but the administration needs to make changes to allow fans to do more. They priced the hard core fans out of the experience. Oh, and bring back “Neck.”

What about TxAM? What are they doing that's different, seems to be dedicated crowds in attendance.
Have you ever been to College Station? What else is there to do but stay at the game.

I dont blame people as much anymore. Its 2018 there are a plethora of reasons not to sit in that stadium for a full 3 hours vs cupcakes.

our current fan base is spoiled.
the fans that made Death Valley what it once was has grown old and are now out numbered by band wagoners and youngsters.
for over a century, we always believed we could get to the top. Other than a few small sample tastes, we never truly got there. But the belief was always there. And the fans were passionate. And were there to do whatever they could to help carry their team across the finish line. Because they were there FOR their team, not because it’s a “status symbol” to show up to games.
now we have an entire generation of “fans” that know nothing but success. just saying they’re were at the game means more to them than the game itself. and nothing is good enough for them. When we win, they don’t like “how” we won. Heaven forbid we actually lose.
to truly bring the Valley back, this fanbase needs a purging.
we may need to go though a Curley type stretch to eliminate a chunk of “fans” that don’t actually love LSU.

gane has too many timeouts. Too many advertisements. Couple that with high prices on everything, can you blame “fans”?

When the #6 team in the country is playing a JV team and are up 24 points you expect them to take care of business. Everyone left and the coaches diddlefricked around and didn't go for the jugular run play after run play,RUN IT THE FRICK UP AND GET THE STARTERS OUT OF THE GAME nobody wants to watch us go 3 and out to LA fricking Tech. We know what our team is capable of and we severely under achieve and play down to our opponents every-time during these games. Maybe people would stay if we didn't go into chew clock mode in the 2nd quarter with all the pitiful play calls
Late to this thread, but all of this shite. Put a product on the fricking field worth watching, and people would stay. These games are like watching fricking paint dry the last 10 years.

Get out of here with this shite. You think LSU is the only program to experience a generation of success? OSU, UGA, Oklahoma have been good for almost 20 years. So it’s just LSU who priced out the common man true tigah fan to come to games?
Hint: It’s Les Miles who coached here 5-6 years too long, bringing fatigue to the fan base. On top of that, our cocksucking piece of shite AD throws gas on the fire every chance he gets. If you need anything else, the d line coach and the TE coach off of the previously failed staff are struggling against LA Tech. So frick our entire administration. The only thing needing to be purged is the 6th floor of the administration building. Half of them are only there after waiting their turn after being student workers.

we now have more consecutive seasons finishing outside the top 10 than OSU has combined this Century. and they haven’t turned in back to back such seasons since around the time our current freshman class was being born.
and our spoiled arse fanbase can’t handle it.

It os true about being corporatized. Loud, canned rap music, pay for EVERYTHING, no spontaneity!

I think the problem, as some have pointed out, is it's become too expensive and too much of a hassle with parking changes and nickel and diming fans to where they would rather stay home. Has nothing to do with the team itself or the opponents scheduled.

This has been happening for years. LSU raised donations so much only the guppies can go to the games. The type of people that take a picture of themselves and put it on Facebook.. Aww look at me im at the LSU game. Makes me sick they cut out the true fans!
Face is $25. I got two tickets in South endzone for free.
It's not expensive at all.

Ding sing. It all got too corporate so instead of leaving something for the common man, we have empty seats. I know LSU has to keep up with the Joneses with money and all but all of that can sometimes make you forget who you really are

This doesnt make sense. The seats are paid for. It is just that the people who are occupying them dont care much and leave early and probably dont get to emotionally involved in the game much.
