Man, frick cancer. Reading his story, this guy busted his arse and came from nothing. Cancer is a fricking thief, like he didn't have a hard enough life.

I clicked that part too. It’s just sad for the kids. But pathetic for the mom in these situations. Putting that much responsibility on a kid is just normal for them.
And the “I grew up in a house with roaches and rats”. Then, “ it’s all for love of family. So I gotta make it happen for them.” It’s probably the author trying to make it more of a sob story by cherry picking quotes, but it’s still a sad article.. So the mom lets him grow up in filth like that, and she still has the audacity to make him feel responsible for taking care of her?
