yea forgot about Katz. Better athlete than Jordan, however.

Schimpf played 7 games at first in his career.

Br. Jordan has made plenty of athletic plays there. No errors. And this is the 3rd time Deichmann hasn't been able to handle an easy throw.

More to blame than Diechmann
What is it with PM always wanting to use Gilbert?
How abou Fraleys night ? 2 strike outs. double play and he gets thrown out stealing 2nd.
Whats the status of Latz + Lochridge ?

Poor kid? You play first base for one of the best programs in the country. Catch the dang ball.

How about the guy who's paid millions of dollars to coach one of the supposed best programs in the country. Maybe he should worry more about supporting and getting through to his players rather than blaming them to cover his own hide.

Yes his play must be affecting the way the whole team swings the bat.

Along with Raph in left and Alex Edward in right. Such an awful defensive outfield.

CPM calls players out has been since he arrived in Baton Rouge I'm over that. The op is suggesting poor kid like he didn't play a part in the reason he called him out. The player does still get some blame even though there is a coach. The play on Saturday and the play last night were similar in that they weren't perfect throws but they are throws that the first baseman should catch.

The play Saturday was about the 10th most significant reason we lost. I don't care that he called him out. I care that his premise for calling him out was wrong. The coach doesn't even know what lost the game. Or worse, if he did, then he called him out for the sole purpose of blaming him regardless of the truth.

There were those who defended it by saying that Deichmann would certainly remember it and learn his lesson. That he would likely never let it happen again. How'd that work out?

That's never stopped him before from playing shorter guys. And Bryce can actually play the position. Aim small; miss small.

I can't even imagine the series of circumstances that would have to conflate to have someone quote the Patriot; yet, here we are.

There is no way he could end up under a CATS bus. It would be late, and he would have gotten tired of waiting by that point.
