Hulu is still good. That's weird though because I have a Fire Stick and it works fine. But both are good. I've tried Playstation Vue, DirectTV Now, and I think another one. Hulu and YouTube are by far the best IMO.
I've wanted to do this for awhile, but Hulu and YouTube didn't have the channel list they have now. I watch a lot of ID Discovery, Food Network, and a couple of other channels. They both have all the channels I want now so there's no reason for me not to do it anymore.

So like if I have a google account, that’s considered “my library?”
I’m used to the actual DVR box so needless to say I’m confused how this YouTube tv works.

Yeah, it takes a little bit to get used to it. But yeah. Your google account is now your cable account lol.

What channels are out of market nfl games on via hulu and youtube??????

Fact is, this is going to be the norm for all tv providers moving forward. Either they cave and give in to media companies on what they are asking for, money-wise (driving monthly services up) or they hold their ground in not paying more for the content. Either way, consumers lose. Concede and you'll be paying more money for bundled channels you don't care about or the channels go black.

I’m still under contract with directtv though so I can’t cancel right?
You can cancel early and pay an etf of 20/month for however many months you have left. Although, there are reports of people getting out of this etf when there are major channel disputes, however, I do not think that is the norm.
I figure if you raise enough hell with them, they might let you out of it.

Well I have a google account so I guess that’s good.

SECN as well ? Of the two which do you prefer and how easy is it to get set up ?
Both have SECN and YouTube TV is super easy and has a nice UI. I don’t have Hulu Live but from what I hear it’s also easier.
Hulu is 5 dollars cheaper than YouTube TV, but you get unlimited DVR with YouTube.

also, you don't need a google account.

Sony PSVUE now has all the local BR stations. I have the elite package and get like 30 sports channels. With HBO and Showtime I pay $79 a month with no contract. Best package on the net IMO. Their interface is nice as well.

I dumped Directv. Got tired of losing the signal in the middle of a severe thunder storm.
If you insist on staying with a bundled package go with Xfinity. That's if it's available in your area.
