Thanks for this! VERY compelling reading for a hungover Sat. morning.

I was about to post this same exact quote

Shout out to TideHSV and SavannahDre for still being the two biggest douchebag mods on the interwebs
Completely. Did you read TideHSV's comments throughout the thread? Someone mentioned that LSU is suspect against the pass, provided their opponent can actually pass.
This seemed to imply that Bama had issues with their passing game. TideHSV wrote:
"There are two of you whining about our team. Go some other place or I will help you."
Oh, and he also banned all LSU posters until "further notice", even the long time, respectful posters. When some people raised concerns about punishing the long term, well-established posters, he threatened THEM with the ban hammer.
What a fricking count.

After this game I agree 100%. Bama can play, and hold them except for the kicking game. Problem is that with an LSU/Bama game the kicking game is one of the most important
Finally, a Bammer that understands that football includes 3 phases, not 2.

Thanks for the post. That was a great read. Now I hope Auburn wins after reading that. I was hoping for a rematch but if Ok St and Bama win I hope Ok St makes it.

I read this last night and
I've been lurking over there off and on since before the game in November. Maybe it's just the kind of fans that post on that forum, but what I see there has an almost complete disconnect with what I personally know about folks from Alabama. I lived in Montgomery for almost ten years. Great place, friendliest state I've ever seen. Deep South courtesy abounds.
But what is the venomous hate directed against LSU, indirectly, and TM7, directly?
For TM7, it's obviously based on his unnecessary hit from behind that, at first glance, looked worse than it was. No neck invloved and the guy did wobble off the field vertically. Bad hit. Cost us 15 yards. But it's over. Football players do hit football players. No evil intent involved.
Then there's his psyops program of trash talkiing and boogie man intimidation that begins whenever he takes the field...great stuff, even if they can't hear what he's saying (fans aren't privvy to his little gems, right?) but they can see him talking and it makes everybody on the side crazy. Very good stuff.
As for hating LSU in general, they seem to think that the 2011 Tide may be the best team they've had since Saban arrived. And for us to come into their house...
They seem to have forgotten their good manners since Nov. 5. Get over themselves and take a breath. Their perspective is embarrassing.

"Ruh roh...this is what happens when special teams comes into play...it was the only advantage LSU had on us. They don't have it with Arky, because the Hogs are good on special teams too, forcing LSU to start deep. Thats the difference I see.."

And don't get me going on their admins banning us from posting on TideFans. It's their board, they can do what they want but that doesn't mean it isn't LeftistCommiePinkoBedwettingPigdog gutless.

What's also funny is that some think LSU playing in the SECCG while Alabama rests helps them. Like Alabama having 5 weeks of rest while LSU only having 4 weeks really matters.

This is a sad hole of a football forum. I posted about this site a few days ago on the Rant, and i gotta tell ya, we have the BEST of Alabama fans on our site. Even the Bama fans that are here, understand that THAT site and its admins constitute a bowl of douchebaggery to the 3rd degree.
Every Bama fan that responded admitted that TideFans.com blows hard and is representative of an admittedly moderately-sized culture of delusioned Bama fans.
The ironic part about "letting LSU posters back in", is that they will only consider that IF they are in the NC game, so they can talk shite about beating us...until of course we beat them AGAIN, and we r banned from their site AGAIN.
the Rant is the best thing for SEC football.

Read every page, relived the game as a bummer fan, that was some funny shite! Thanks for the link.

quote:No wonder we won. Bama had so much more pressure on them being ranked below us and all
And it also looks like LSU is playing with the weight of the world on its shoulders. That same pressure that we had on us on Nov. 5 is now squarely on them and nobody else.

Gumps need Preparation H. They're too proud to admit they're still butt hurt from November 5.
