I'd take someone less athletic that is smart enough to play assignment football.

If you make one outstanding play then are out of position or fricking off on 9 plays thats terrible production.

Hope he and Nuss saved their money.

He locked in the past 4 games. Perk deserves our respect.

Locked in on missing tackles, over pursuing, and giving shite effort.

Are you trolling or do you actually believe this?

He plays defense. Lane has nothing to do with his progression and BB's coming back. He's a second rounder, no need to pass that opportunity up for another year at LSU.

Man I dont see that at all. I could be wrong but there is miles of tape showing him out of position and in some cases just running around.

And he just never got the whole pass coverage thing, thats kinda a big deal in the NFL.

I believe it's coaching. The NFL Combine and Pro Day will be crucial for him to be drafted in the second round. His performance this year and his first-year tape should at least ensure he is selected on Day 2.

Someone needs to shake some sense into him. He is okay in his current role, but if he wants to make big money in the NFL he needs to get his arse back on the line and focus on sacking the qb.

I mean the Arkansas game was freaking 4 seasons ago! How much longer can this guy be about to blow up?

He was just way too slack assed this year for me to support him. I wish him luck, hopefully at the next level, but enough is enough.

Look at what happened to Nuss for deciding to come back. Perkins would be crazy to come back.

I would love to have him for another year. He has to be accounted for on D.

I would love for him to come back, but he should go pro, for him. I think he will be drafted high and will have a monster pro day because he is such a great athlete.

I like the kid, but it's just time to move forward. Let him go try and do his thing in the NFL. Somebody will grab him on talent alone and try to work with him. Probably a good fit in Detroit under Shepherd. Have some commonality there.

Either call him “tag Perkins” or “two below Perkins”. He avoids contact
