Member when he sat out that bowl game to keep his redshirt and LSU had to play a backup wr at QB? Nuss was always about Nuss and only Nuss.
Wish we could boot fans like this outta the fanbase. Just a total piece of shite

Our fans have hit a new low this season.

quote:Yall are so easily manipulated. Nuss's family said hell no to him burning a redshirt. You were given the sanitized version like the version that Nuss is all of a sudden too hurt to play in any games now. They came to an agreement of it not being worth it to finish out these last few games and just let him heal up for the combine.
LSU applied for a waiver to the redshirt rule. The interim coach said at the time that if they did not get a waiver Nuss would not play. This wasn't solely a Nuss decision. LSU did not want his redshirt burned.
Kind of pathetic that 5 years later that is being used to defend booing him on senior night.
Either way it doesn't bother me. I know damn well Nuss isn't the sunshine boy many of you make him out to be and I'm perfectly fine with that. Him and his family are selfish too, but in a normal way. The kid got 3rd round pick money to come back he didn't come back just out of the kindness of his heart. Nuss is no different than any other player.
I don't boo anybody who has or will play for LSU. I'll talk some shite about their play, but that's it.

Why would anyone blame Nuss for getting paid, like every other player on every team in the country. Some people are just envious and somehow think they would do better. Scum bags, the kid did his best if it didn't suit you, you should have piped up last year. Some people just have to be negative, no matter the circumstances. Sad would be live in, they all get paid now even high schoolers and D2 and D3 players.

shite, you had people on this board wanting to run Jayden Daniels out of Baton Rouge. Think about that!!!

It’s very simple, they need people to believe Nuss is a bad person so they they can say dehumanizing things about him without looking bad themselves.

You dont burn a redshirt for 1 game you moron, especially a bowl game that didnt amount to a hill of beans. To be honest, I dont think a players eligibility should start until they actually start a game. But then wed have some 25 yr olds starting their 1st game and eligibility lol

Libtard Wokester Woodward stepped in and stopped that from happening. Good riddance to that LW pos for playing Good Ole Bro Libtard Politics
Jeezus Christ on a cracker! Seriously? You know there’s a board for politics, since it doesn’t have anything to do with football…
And, aren’t “good ole bros” usually conservatives Republicans?
Besides, errybody know it’s Trump’s fault the OL can’t block, amirite? LOL

In hindsight this was Nussmeier's sliding doors moment. If he lights up a mediocre Kansas State team in the Texas Bowl, then there is a solid chance that Jayden does not come to LSU to challenge a presumed starter. Nussmeier gets to play 2022 and 2023 with true NFL receivers and NFL offensive lineman.
Zero chance Nussmeier gets close to Daniels' historic production in 2023, and so LSU's record would have suffered given the terrible defense. But Nussmeier enters the draft in 2023 having two solid statistical seasons throwing to Nabors, BTJ, and Mason Taylor, while protected by competent linemen.

Guess we should go to the jobs of these idiots on the board and boo them if they feel this way.

I can’t believe you got downvoted for saying this.

you talking about when he was benched? you expect him to take that with a smile on his face. the following week when he was benched after going 18-21 he was supporting van Buren throughout that game.
nobody is dumb enough to boo the guy. I will be shocked if that happens

My net worth is 10x what Nuss made this year, so not really

Agree, NIL has made culture and winning two different things. CFB is a professional game now.
Nuss stayed loyal and put in the work which doesn't always lead to wining.
I think most players want to win, it's just a hard life in the SEC. Hoping Nuss at the next level is successful.
