88-90 isn’t “barely college level”. If you can locate with that velocity you can beat anybody.

I guess you can quibble with semantics if you want, but in general I think “outside of the top 2 pitchers at an Ivy League school” and “barely college level” are roughly synonymous.

Big-picture wise, Dartmouth is a lot higher in the food chain than you probably think.

There's high-end D1, low-end D1, D2, D3, NAIA, NCCAA, NJCAA...

There are HBCU's in the NAIA that would get 10-run ruled by a decent HS team.

They aren’t going to win a conference whose champion will be a 4 seed in the tournament. That 4 seed can upset a 1 seed sometimes with the former’s ace on the mound, but that 4th seed’s 3rd best starter with a 8.00 ERA rarely beats the host team.

It was a bad weekend at the plate against a team that won’t even be a 4th seed. LSU will have better weekends and this weekend likely won’t matter, but don’t try to oversell Dartmouth.

No argument there.

I was replying to the guy that said Dartmouth is basically "barely college level".
