No, it does not say LSU is #3.

Get rid of the coaches poll. It's been BS for years, even when it benefited LSU

totally agree. they need to use a hybrid media/coaches poll, and have the members certified and voted on for entry to be a voter.

NO WAY OKLAHOMA SHOULD BE #1.....We now know FSU isn't that agreat and MIssouri wasn't even ranked and they barely won. Surely there is a better team than them outside the SEC to go up agains the SEC 1 & 2.

It is interesting we have more than double the 1st place vote than Bama yet are tied at #2.

I wish I could see the detailed voting.

2. LSU (20) ........ 1404 points

4. Stanford ........ 1225 points

WHAT IS WAS LAST WEEK AFTER MSU GAME

1 Oklahoma (50) 2-0 1463 1
2 Alabama (4) 3-0 1402 2
3 LSU (5) 3-0 1373 3
4 Boise State 2-0 1212 4

We really closed the gap taking those 15 first place votes from Chokelahoma ... and I love how Boise State dropped out of the Top 4

Iam sure Miles did not vote for LSU #1. I loved Erin Andrews post game interview with Les when he said he would rather sneek up on #1 later in the year. She then replied laughing "Coach, your not sneeking up on anybody!"

Disagree. I've seen both a couple of times. Pretty much dead even. WVU has a better defense.

Ya right....ok dude...Arky is a shadow of last year's team. I don't put any stock in that win Bama had yesterday. WV looks a mile better than argh-kansas. I guarantee their defense is lightyears better, and their offense can move the ball on anybody with short 5 yard passes...

Meh...you could pretty much randomize the top 3 and make a good argument for it. The coaches (and the world) knows that the MNC Will be the SEC champ vs. Oklahoma.

Ya ok??? Except Oklahoma has played cupcakes...with one close game against an average FSU at home with a LATE win! OU doesn't deserve to even be top 3. I'd put them behind Stanford.

I'm willing to give Oklahoma the benefit of the doubt for now

Beating a FSU on the road is a hell of a lot more impressive than beating up on the likes of Duke and San Jose State. What exactly makes Stanford a better team to you?

Stanford's only real test will be Oregon. We'll know who Oklahoma is after they play Okie State and TAMU. I'm reserving my judgment on them until then or until they lose.

Ya I agree, maybe top three, but I'd say LSU and Bama are very very far ahead of them...IDC who wins (obviously I want LSU to win) Nov. 5th they are the champions

Eh, I rather not be ranked #1 too early. Other teams get extra motivation, playing #1. Lets get it when we win the BCS

Wonder what Les's vote was, I'd guess he put us at 3.

This and NOT this.

Everyone is going to be up for LSU regardless if we're 3,4 or 1.

Auburn fans are alleging that Vegas has lsu as 9 point dogs vs bama. I really don't care and hate the distraction of non-BCS rankings, but has anyone else heard of such early odds?
