WOW, I mean wow. I knew there wasn't much support for the SEC here but I didn't realize that there was so much SEC hatred. I remember 45 years ago when SEC teams were snubbed in the polls and an SEC team usually had to go undefeated to win a title - and even then it wasn't a guarantee. I remember Keith Jackson saying in 1992 how the SEC was the weakest conference, only to have a record number of SEC teams go bowling and all but one of them winning their bowl games. I've pulled for SEC teams since I started watching the games in 1970. The rest of the nation looked down on the SEC and that hasn't changed.

WTF is up with all of this anti-sec sentiment all of a sudden? I am damn glad that we are in the SEC and the stronger the conference is, the more benefit we get.
I don’t think we are playing to make the SEC look good, but I damn sure don’t want to see anyone else in the conference lose either.

I mispoke. Was confusing UCF with USF!
I did a little research and found out they are BOTH in the AAC, along with Memphis, Houston Cougars, Cincinnati, UConn and others.

Supporting this SEC and their offices is the equivalent of pulling against LSU. It is obvious to me since the expansion they only care about gumps, Aggies, dawgs and jorts. Every decision goes against the best interest of LSU. So tell me why should we support a corrupt system? LSU should leave the SEC because it is corrupt beyond repairing. With a playoff, sec is a hindering LSU, not helping.

Because certain teams in the SEC aren't just recruiting to help themselves, they are recruiting to hurt others i.e. recruiting a guy you dont need just so someone who does need them doesn't get them. This conference is a long ways from the SEC chants that came from UF, LSU, AU, BAMA against the world. Now the league is cannabilizing itself and officiating is more questionable than ever.
