A shame. I can only foresee us beating Bama by 2 or 3 touchdowns rather than 5 without Honey Badger and Spencer Weed.

So now is everyone going to hate Ware and Mathieu like they did JJ when he got suspended? And proceed to "boo" them when they run onto the field for the first time back? Hopefully we learned out lesson with that.

I doubt that's what it is.

They are all sophomores and probably didn't get drug tested last year so they thought they could get away with it and then failed their random.

I don't think this is a big deal. I mean I was in college once....

Wow. Arguably the most valuable players on offense and defense. I've completely lost interest in this team. Don't even bother watching the Bama game.

JJ wasn't booed cause people were pissed that he was arrested... he was booed cause he sucks compared to Jarrett Lee. Mathieu and Ware both awesome and would never be booed.

Miles said basically nothing about Baker's suspension earlier this season

This genie is out of the bottle - he confirms or denies today - it will come up on the show, if there's no press conference. And if the reports are true, he'll have to say something like "violation of team rules" OR "violation of university policy".

Because of HIPPA - unless they're actually charged with a drug offense, their drug tests results are technically privleged and protected.

There were claims of a third player that would be suspended. Anyone know who?

Without naming names, it was another cornerback who starts/plays a lot, but not Claiborne.

Oh, were you the top player on the #1 team in the country three weeks before playing #2 Alabama to decide the SEC and likely BCS champion?

I think this is a big deal...

They would have had to killed a hooker while failing the drug test to miss the Bama game.
