That must have been what I saw. I was in section S and from my viewpoint it looked like that whole bottom half of section k was about to fight the olemiss section beside them.
I was in section K....I would say this is accurate.

My observations from my first trip:
-Grove is overrated. Really missed having all the space to be able to spread out for tailgate games etc.
-Fans in general were pretty cool. We did encounter "those people" that acted like LSU killed their first born. Everyone else around us was pretty cool.
-Stadium was OK. Did enjoy the self serve kiosks for concessions.
I've only been to OLE Miss Auburn and Tennessee for road games and OLE Miss is easily last on my list in terms of experience.

For those who went to Oxpatch, did anybody see them selling corndogs at stadium? I did a few years ago and was just wondering if they still did.

For years, OM has positioned their student section next to an LSU section. That arrangement is just begging for a throw down. We had things thrown at us years ago and from the stories I’m hearing today, they apparently are carrying on the tradition.

Cant believe an lsu band member would complain about any fan base. My sister played in the band and they marched into every single opponents field from the bus...except one, LSU. The band leader told them to get their instruments and get to the stadium on their own as quickly as possible. Lsu fans rocked the bus, cursed and harassed them, had drinks thrown at them and one lsu spit at one of the band members. One of their fans went into th port o potty and 2 lsu ans knocked it over with him still inside. Don't ever complain about opposing fan bases.

Went in 2007 and 2011. Enjoyed both trips. Locals/Rebel fans were great. LSU fans were a mixed bag.

If you ever find yourself at an Ole Miss football game or simply in Oxford, try to stay away from talking about the SEC championships they've won since 1963. It's a veeeeeeeeeeeery short conversation and gives them the red@ss :)
