this thread is chock full of "protesting too much."

To any rational observer, Fisher has A&M on the uptake.

They went 8-4 (two of these losses were to Bama and Clemson, and they pushed Clemson to the limit).

He has 2019 recruiting currently no. 2 in the country.

A&M has all the resources in the world.

All this bitching about Fisher is juvenile. We should be very concerned about A&M in the future.

I had some respect for them too. Living in Texas, I know quite a few Aggies and Longhorns. A lot of my family are Texas alums and they have been telling me for years how trashy the school is.

I believe it now.

And Clemson was gifted a game from the refs against us. Anyone thinking there's some ref bias towards Texas A&M hasn't been paying attention to the absurdly large amount of shite calls that have gone against us over the last couple of years.

On top of that, we outplayed Auburn all but a couple minutes and let them come back.

People saying we should be 7-5 dont understand that were just as close to being 10-2 as 7-5.

well im sorry you stopped reading there... look at the top 20 from that year... look at their records... it was a down year for many Blue Blood programs..

Im not saying he is not a great coach, because he is... he did build Florida State back up. and he is building TAMU. But TAMU is a little different place than Florida State... I thought as soon as he got the job i was thinking damn they will be a top team in 3-4 years... I'm a little more on the fence than that now.. The SEC was loaded this year in the west... Wait till the east comes back, it is well on its way...

And yes, I think there are two guys that can fix the offense... Briles and Freeze... thats it...

They are 8-4.. not much difference atm

Huge difference in this year’s team and previous ones. If you watched the game you’d know. They were way more physical than I’ve ever seen. I can’t remember A&M running it down our throats and it being damn near unstoppable. They are way tougher and anyone who watched that game would know that. You’re in denial if you can’t see Fisher is changing them. 8-4 with two losses coming to Clemson and Alabama who are both undefeated and dominating everyone they face.

SEC Network, Sunday morning, early Dari Nowkah, Chris Doering and Gene Chizikh all saying the same thing: this was a statement win, it has put aTm on the map, already and Jimbo has the program going up.

It didn't take even ten minutes from the end of the game to have the script already written. It is now the narrative.

So we're going all out with the we'd rather have a "clean" program that loses instead of a "dirty" one that wins?

Well, i knew he was going to bring in fresh energy, and he is a really good coach... I worried a little more about his DC, Elko is a stud DC much like Aranda. The reason I say im a little less concerned now is because of their roster, next year will not be kind to them losing what they are losing, I think it will put a halt to his momentum that he built this year... but to counter act that, Auburn and Miss St will be waaaay down, LSU will be better.. So it kinda balances itself out in a way, they wont be as talented but their schedule will setup nicely because they play south carolina and kentucky in the east. (both will be down) and I think Auburn and Miss St take a nose dive next year, they both lose a ton... I think Clemson destroys them early.

I would not credit Fisher yet. He was about six boatloads of good luck away from being a 5 loss team.

and i have been saying this all year, but I dont know if he can get them over the hump, texas kids are a bit of a different breed, they are coddled and spoiled, im not sold he can do it there... I feel he could have def done it at LSU.

i have said same thing

TAMU is TAMU. as good as jimbo is its gonna be tough. Yeah I think he would have done better at LSU also but it is still early. see what happens at TAMU. regardless it does not take away from his past sucesses. it is a HUGE challenge he took on plus 75 million is hard to turn down. they will give him time to build his program.

Thug U! Fisher imposes zero discipline on his programs. Look at the dumpster fire he left at FSU. He destroyed that once proud program in only a few years. You Jimbo worshippers need to open your eyes.

almost every team loses a lot of players each year.

And I just looked at their depth chart, they don't seem to be losing much.

I think Jimbo hiring Elko was one of the biggest hires of all last off-season

Amazing how different they are after one year. The guy is a good coach

well they beat the no. 7 team - and took the no. 2 team to the limit early in the year.

What are they supposed to say?
