2 baserunning mistakes that likely cost several runs.
10 walks from pitchers.
3-11 with RISP.
Not to mention an error which we were fortunate on and it didn't cost us.
That's bad baseball. Tough to win a game when you're doing that, especially when you're starting pitchers leaves after 2 innings, likely hurt, in game 1 of the super regional. We burned Peterson, who looked great. FSU has now seen Veitmeier, Fontenot, and Hess, all of which looked pretty bad. Plus throwing Hilliard. So 6 of our top arms have been thrown, even though 4 stayed under 30 pitches and can still be thrown tomorrow or Monday.
