I know that its music to your ears, you still one of the guys who actually loves to hear perrilloux's name, man, he dominated that porous UThug Defense last year!

seriously?
It was based on some idiot who used these criteria:
quote:
Prove that JJ will ever be able to hit a WR, read a defense, or understand the playbook....BETTER THAN JL
So my proof stands, with that as my sole criteria.

I see that. I cant believe so many people do not understand the track of development for a young QB.

How many pick sixes did he throw? I like Lee and all, but 7 PICK SIXES. You can;t ovelook that, especially when it costs you games.

and i dont get why people belittle that fact. he didn't play at a private school surrounded by D1 recruits. he was 5A. went 21-0 as a starter. you know how fricking clutch and poised you have to be to do that? you know how many comebacks he led his team on to do that? yeah that doesn't mean shite, and using that for an indicator as to his composure is just dumb

the principle is the same.
no it isn't. a lot more goes into experience for QBs than for DBs.

in a season that no longer means much.
what are you talking about? we can't just pack it in and give up. we have a shitty end to the season and lose a couple we shouldn't, we are hurt drastically in reputation as a program. this is huge for recruiting and rankings.

you couldn't ask for a better road the the NC game...
not really. we lose a lot of talent, plus, having to go on the road against Bama and UGA as well as playing of the most talented teams in the history of college football (Florida) next year is no easy task. but that is beside the point.

He's in the SEC now, not high school... You may go now.

he'll be a good backup to Lee and Sheppard
Again, I want to know why you're saying this. I don't know...I'm asking you. Why do you think Jefferson has no shot of beating out Lee next season? What evidence is there, other than one game of meaningful snaps, that Lee is clearly the better option?

JJ did well. Coming in as a true freshman...
I dunno, I thought he made some great plays and allowed Lee to collect himself.

Just by looking at mechanics. Lee is inconsistent accuracy-wise, but has shown potential. Jefferson really isn't accurate at all.

there is no proof, arse. I'm merely arguing that JJ should get just as much of a chance to learn and develop and get just as much playing time so we can see who is actually better. frick jarrett lee's feelings, he's played an entire season already. kids 20 years old, if he's sensitive to the point that a little competition ruins his confidence and career, he could not possibly have the nerves to be a championship qb anywyas

a year full of meaningful snaps for Lee.
and I watched Jefferson in high school. With al due respect, I never thought that highly of him.
Lee has shown enough bright spots to show that he will be a good QB as he ages.
Barring injury, I don't think Jefferson will ever be more than a change of pace guy for LSU.
And when Sheppard comes in, he becomes a better "change of pace" QB. He is actually a threat as a runner.

AT tHIS POINT IT iS NO CONTEST!!!

It's ONE game. I'm just not understanding how people (not just you but several others in the thread) are basing all these assessments on ONE game. Like I said before, I don't know. Jefferson may end up being inaccurate in general. I just don't think we can come to a definite conclusion in one game.

based on six passes. Really?

I'm pretty sure JL's nerves are more solid than yours or mine, considering the fact that you probably boo'ed the shite out of him and he still came back and played lights out in the 2nd half. Also, add to the fact that Byrd threw him under the bus in his interview
