Guice, the surprise weapon against Auburn, a team as of last week that was supposedly thought to be the biggest hurdle this season.
Who know how coaches' minds work!

I like this formation. Fournette and Williams in the backfield, Guice in the slot, and Dupre and Dural on the outside.

If Guice is to have success, he needs to be on the field more while not getting the ball. As it stands now, teams know that whenever he is on the field, the play is going to him. I have noticed that is how Les normally handles "special package" players. He rarely sets them up as a decoy at first.

We went in to a pretty hostile environment having not played a "tune up" game with a qb that's only start was a whoopin. It needed to be vanilla with a few downhill throws. Had we overwhelmed him asking too much and lost his confidence would have taken a hit. Now he has to be more confident than ever with what he can do.

Use him for a play action pass, they will never see it coming.

I like the back up RB's we have. We just have a special player in LF7. Williams and Guice will get their shots and they will be successful.

I do not think the coaching staff was comfortable with the offense without the tune up game. They saw LF was rolling and decided wrongly that it was enough.
We win a huge game against an SEC opponent on the road who slaughter us just last year at home and we still find away to be pissed about the shite.

Fournette and Guice
This is why you guys are fans. If you can't see that Williams is a damn stud, your retarded.
You can argue that Williams was as good or better than LF7 between the tackles and in short yardage. That is meant entirely as a compliment to Williams, not as a knock on Fournette.

Williams was very good Sat. night. You could argue that he has better vision that LF inside the tackles, though he certainly doesn't give you that "home run" threat that LF provides.
LSU is loaded at RB. I would love to see more formations where they get 2 of their 4 backs on the filed at the same time. Hell, you could even stick Guice in the slot and put Williams and LF in the backfield together.

you use fournette and Williams on pounding the defense and guice on space plays, fly wheels, flank him out as a receiver. just like how Clemson used cj spiller and the saints will use cj spiller this season. like on screens in and out of the back field.

To see Guice more, you are essentially arguing:
A) Tone down LF7 carries. When we have probably the most special player on offense LSU has had in decades. And maybe the most special player to ever put on a Tiger helmet.
B) Take away Williams' touches. When according to film and the eye test, Williams is a very special player himself and has done nothing but spell LF7 and do it very well. You realize Williams would likely be the primary back and almost any school in the country right?
C) Pass even less and give 3 backs 10+ touches a game. Which doesn't match the Rant's MO at all, seeing how most of the Rant seems to believe we should just overnight turn into an Air Raid offense with BHarris.
So yeah. Guice can wait his turn and when he gets it, prove himself. Otherwise, full steam ahead LF7/Williams combo PAIN train.
Ask Mississippi State LB core and Secondary how they feel when after multiple poundings from LF7, they see Williams come in ready to plow thru them

D.Williams reminds me of Stevan Ridley. And Stevan Ridley was a stud. This is one of the best trio of runnings back LSU has ever had. (I understand we havent seen guice BUT we know).
And its nice knowing they are true sophmores and freshman and are forced by law to come back next year.

I want to see Guice in the game and run the route to the shallow flat, but for BH to pull up and hit a streaking Dural/Malachi/Chark/take your pick up the field where there will be no safety since he will be wrapped around Guice's ankles. BOOMMFR!

No you don't. We don't know how good he is in comparison. He'll move up the depth chart when he surpasses in talent by a noticeable margin.
Just be patient.
