That's not even close to how it works. But box ushers are one of the most self important group of dumbassess ever assembled so hearing they said something like this woth 100% confidence doesn't shock me

So 2 more lightning strikes and we’re done. 0-1 count right now

ROLF It’s 30 minutes from the last strike. Not 30 more minutes added every time a strike happens.

They don’t like delays in the middle of the game because you get a pitcher warm, throws for an inning (or however long), then you get a rain delay, he gets cold, and you likely need to move on to another pitcher. If that happens a few times in a game, you run out of quality arms in a hurry.

We all get that, but this is baseball. It’s always been that way, it’s Spring in freaking Louisiana. But I remember watching LSU baseball in the rain, and enjoying every minute of it. At some point things changed and now everyone is scared to get wet.

too fricking bad. They’ve been doing that for decades but now they decided to think they can predict the weather and constantly screw it up

Yeah, you'll think too fricking bad when we burn a a starter for an inning or two and end up having to turn the game over to Schmidt or someone.
