Yeah, CPM managed that exactly right. Kept the hot hand in the game, but had Person and Stallings get ready just in case.

Bregman and LSU was owed a call from the first base ump. He cost us a run in the first inning on Bregman's ball to second.

Bregs was awesome out there. Even his 'error'. Newman definitely delivered. Poche did fine but def not his best outing. Honestly felt we did ok at bat but couldn't get those outfield liners to fall. Story of the year I guess... Either way, we got 1/1 so far and in a series that we don't know how many games we will get in that's more important than ever.

That was one of Bregman's flashiest defensive games of the season even with the error.. that a good 1st baseman picks.
