So you're saying LSU's Dline adjustments in that game that was recently documented by the coaches had no bearing on the inability of Georgia to run the ball in the second half?
It was strictly Kirby Smart tired of calling run plays, right?

so you’re saying that LSU had nothing to do with Georgia not being able to run the ball? Kirby smart just got sick of running it?
No LSU made adjustments, but Holyfield was still running on us. Kirby got full of himself with the fake FG, and then tried to pass the ball more. Holyfield was on his game, and would have been a different ball game if he got 20 carries.

Even taking out the long of 17 yards, still an average of 6.5 yards.

His last four touches were for 9 yards, 5 yards, 13 yards and 10 yards and one TD.

We got lucky that Smart got stupid.

Holyfield was still running wild on LSU after the adjustment. He didn't get the ball enough and they let Fromm dictate the game flow rather than Holyfield and the running game

He abandoned the run after having success. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

Way to be a sensitive bitch so early in the morning
Way to post a negative take on the win. Maybe Aranda adjusts to their early success and takes away the UGa running game (which they did.).
Of all the comments that could be made about a 36-17 arse kicking, you chose poorly.

Have you talked to any UGA fans about the game? Holyfield was averaging 8 yards a touch and Kirby gave him the ball only 7 times.
Smart was staring a 200 yard day out of Holyfield in the face and just said screw it.
If that's what UGA fans are saying then they're dumber than your average ranter for sure.

What kind of adjustments that lead to an average of 8 yards is a game winning strategy in your opinion?
Running 7 TIMES with a guy who is showing is idiotic.

Way to piss in the cornflakes and denigrate a great Tiger win.
A little dramatic there bud.
Our offensive gameplan and the way we changed our tempo were huge in the win as well. UGA's defense was always on their heels it seemed. Credit to Ensminger for an outstanding gameplan, though a little more red zone efficiency would have been nice.
But you can't really objectively look at that game and say Kirby and Chaney didn't shite the bed too. They were gashing us on the ground and for some unknown reason tried to put the game on Fromm's back. Plus that fake field goal was mind-numbingly stupid.

Eaux adjusted and out coached the jaw jaw staff.

And to think it's usually Oeaux and Emsminger who are guilty of coaching malpractice!

I will never understand why they stopped running the ball on us.
Seriously?

Ed Orgeron had a simple explanation for a key defensive adjustment LSU made midway through the first quarter of Saturday’s thrilling win over Georgia in Tiger Stadium.
Orgeron smiled when the question came up.
The Bulldogs, on their second possession, had ripped off runs of 12, 18 and 17 yards on three consecutive plays — right after a holding penalty wiped out a 28-yard blast on the first play of the series. What did the Tigers do after that?
“We were playing one certain defense ... and it wasn’t working,” Orgeron said. “We changed to play another one and it worked; that’s all.”
Pressed about the nature of the change, the Tigers’ third-year coach flashed a bigger smile, making sure to keep the strategy under wraps but still having fun in the wake of No. 13 LSU’s 36-16 pasting of No. 2 Georgia.
“You really want to know everything?” he asked as reporters chuckled. “I’m gonna tell you. You ready? We were shaded one way and then we went and shaded another way.
“That was the change,” he added. “Shade to shade, baby.”
“We just ... (Aranda) told Devin White to to get in the gap because they (were) just running the draw,” said White, who had a team-high 13 tackles on the afternoon. “We really hadn’t seen the draw.
“They just made it where I overtook the gap or (middle linebacker) Jacob Phillips overtook the gap, depending on what defense we were in, and we made the nose tackle go the opposite way, and we overtook it and made the play.”
How LSU slowed down Georgia's powerful run game with a simple adjustment

Hope S.Charles improves in 2020. I didn't remember but he blew several plays and had costly false start too.
Orgeron brought his steel balls to this game. 4th down after 4th down.

Its a different game if Aranda and Orgeron didn't make defensive adjustments to stop the run.
Its a different game we didn't, on and on.
We will be better this year.

Gary so desperately wanted to crown Georgia. "Tough to put away a champion"
Start of 4th quarter, Georgia has cut the lead to 10 and just returned the punt into LSU territory.
LSU about to ball out and own the 4th quarter.

That fourth quarter was something to behold for the Tigers. When Burrow took off on that 60 yard run after Georgia cut the lead down to 16-29, the stadium just electrified!
