My point is we attacked their strength. Which always seem to be what Les does

I know what your point was...mine was sarcasm...well actually a lot of truth to it sadly. We pay millions of dollars for those pathetic gameplans

Really, It already takes a QB 3 years to learn our "complex" single plan. The rest of college football can prepare a QB in one year.

I feel you.

Miles has class and represents LSU well. Awesome guy good recruiter. Just wish he wouldn't do so much. 5th O coordinator, same offensive scheme (which shite wins 10 games) Hire somebody that will stick to Les ball throughout a season (cause let me say again it will win us 10 games) but will let them hang and leave everything on the field against a team like bama.

you can't just look at the score at halftime and say we were in the game. You have to look at what was actually happening on the field.

In the first half, we were outgained 220-153. Time of possession was 18:18 - 11:42. Half our yards were from two plays (long TD pass and long pass from our goal line to Dural). Excluding those two plays, we ran 23 plays and gained 76 yards. We rushed 15 times for 37 yards.

We couldn't control the LOS. We were very lucky to be down 3 at half.

[quote]If you can't see all of that and the definite need to make adjustments at halftime, then I just don't know what to say.

Sorry but this post missed the first half I saw.. stats are great .. but what would the stats have looked like if Harris hits Dupre for a 55 yard touchdown instead of underthrowing and getting the interference call ; getting 3 instead of 7 .Add that yardage onto the halftime stats.. Then add Harris hitting Fournette over the middle when he was wide open and who knows how many yards he gets .. maybe he scores.......Bama was very lucky to be ahead ....Two plays that made a difference and the coaches got it right and we just didn't execute. not a knock on Harris ... he isn't perfect and is not expected to be but to say we were lucky to be that close in the first half is not watching the game .

Miles' plan every game is to impose our will on the other team.We are able to do that the vast majority of the time.It was obvious after 3 series that it wasn't gonna happen against Bama. We should have made adjustments no later than halftime but unfortunately we apparently don't have any other options in the playbook. That is my biggest complaint.

uh, what game were you watching?!?!?! Bama was lucky to be up at the half?? My god, that's just nuts. We were thoroughly outplayed in the first half, and even moreso in the second half.

Next time you watch the Tigers, take off the P&G glasses, you'll see it all much clearer.

Forget stats it's about not running anymore cause it's getting stuffed and having to punt from deep in our territory

There's other ways to give 7 the ball without having to hand it to him

We made adjustments in the 2nd quarter, which allowed us to tie the game. When Harris threw the INT, Les went into panic mode.

Maybe you could point out why I am wrong. As opposed to just saying that I wear p and g glasses. My glasses are clear and black frames and I only use them for reading .

As much as I like Les, I don't think he works nearly as hard at looking at the offenses that got to Bama than Saban did at what will stop 7. NO PLAN B. Lee's pick 6s haunts him.

Les Miles Gameplan is fine. He's the head coach so I trust him.

We came out and threw an interception. We never got a real chance to see what we were trying to do after that.

the score was 13-10 at halftime so it is plausible that lm decided we could win the game with no major halftime adjustments needed. he saw it as last year's game . a tight game to be decided by turnovers. the turnover by harris was critical but not a game changer.

When JD Moore got hurt, we got into the shotgun and scored 10 points in about 3 minutes. Coming out in the second half LSU had Mouton at FB, and started back with the I-Formation.

And he had the worst TE's on the team as passing options, and Dural was covered.

No JD Moore simply got hurt. No FB = no I-Formation. Couldn't just stick Mouton out there.
