ive always thought we should have had them. i see them at other SEC games and love it. the only gripe i have is they should have been purple and gold. not just gold.

Y'all act like you've never seen them here before. They had them at the Florida game last year; I'm assuming they've had them at other games as well.

They're OK but they really do cut down on the noise level. If you're shaking something, you're not using that energy to scream and shout.

You can't make noise by clapping if you are waving a pompom. We need noise more than a certain "look" the pompom's give a crowd.

when i first heard about the pom poms i had my doubts, but you guys can say they were gay all you want, they were cool. the stadium was loud, and the poms did not hurt one thing. good job event staff.

i through everyones away i could get my hands on at the gate, you dont make any noise when your shaking your faggy pom pom. O and its not an LSU thing its not, let the war eagles, or plainsmen or tigers whatever they are do that shite. we dont pipe in music or shake pom pom's we are one of the last great schools to do it. Keep it LSU

If you throw up at the site of shakers in a stadium, then probably pretty much anything makes you miserable and so you'd be throwing up because of something else if you didn't have those to complain about.

A&m's stadium was rocking last night, they had over 30k students in the stadium and the towels looked bad arse, better than the pom poms. I have a friend who graduated from LSU and went to that game and he said a&ms crowd last night was up there with anything he's heard at LSU before.

LSU used to pick a few games each year to do this. They've done it for bowl games, SEC Championships, etc., as well. It's nothing new. It happened during the Saban era and that was one of the most rocking eras in the history of LSU Football/Tiger Stadium. I don't see the big deal. Tiger Stadium sounded great in the 2nd half yesterday...it didn't hurt anything. It's not like we do it every game.
