Principal from my old school who was a white woman used to insist people call her "Dr." at school. Also look how often Jill Biden is referenced with the preceding "Dr.". Also a white woman.

Loved watching Harry Coleman back in the day. Dude lit people up on the regular and brought some physicality to defense. He was a headhunter on ST too.

That is the new principal and yes, he is small, but he's been doing great things. Was Louisiana Middle School principal of the year last year at Alexandria Middle before taking the the Peabody job this year. He is a Peabody alum, so it was a win-win hire, as well.

Good for him, everyone's career ends at some point

Yep, ASH and Pineville will will still take Peabody to the wood shed.

ASH yes…but beating Pineville is easily attainable with a few of Coach Smith’s basketball athletes playing football as well like most schools with multi-sport athletes. Harry’s biggest challenge will be overcoming that. Athletes won’t be hard to find if he instills a culture.

I’m not sure how this works
He lost WSM job b/c he isn’t certified as a teacher, but he can take Peabody job?
Is this one of those deals where teachers can teach at a different school every year when they don’t pass the NTE?
I’m all for Harry doing well. Just wondering what the state of LA is doing these days in regards to coaching requirements

Yeah, there was definitely a kid playing for ASH this year that played for Marksville last year. And last time I checked, Marksville is not in Rapides Parish.

We've regularly gone back and forth with Pineville since the 90s and we beat ASH in Bachman's first or second year so both can be done.
Most of ASH's black kids come from Peabody's feeder school and always have, its always been that way going back to Stoker and nobody said anything about it, now its just okay because of open enrollment. Get some of those kids back and things even out quickly and you will definitely have some parents and kids who would like their coach being a former pro.

Good that Peabody Magnet has experienced athletic success somewhere
Hopefully, Harry can get them going in the right direction in football as well.
As I recall, Harry was a top notch athlete who was never afraid to confront a tough challenge.
