ust to clarify what the "Pro Miles Internet Bullies" think - if LF makes comments like Williams, Webtser, Mawae, etc... in a few years, then he becomes a scumbag too?

Of course! That's how these bullies roll. That's all they are -- big mouthed internet bullies. They take every criticism of Miles as a personal insult that warrants an obscene and insulting personal response.

They want the Rant to become nothing more than an echo chamber that mirrors their own world view. I hope that they will see the error of their ways and STOP responding to every insult of Miles as though it were an obscene personal insult of themselves that must be responded to in kind.

Why do we never attack like that? We wouldn't even do that against East-West-South Michigan-College-Community-Tech-State.

And sadly these same folks would rather blame the players. Incredible. Its a sickness.

I'm considering the fact that LSU wasn't built to make a run this year. Really young defense unproven QB, unproven Receivers.

HUH????

This would be an excuse if LSU wasn't recruiting the top athletes in the country, then I would go with this.

I am overwhelmed by all the coaching experience these former players are basing their evaluations on. And there are millions of former players who do not know squat about coaching & what it takes to run a program as a HC.

well just who in the hell WAS built to make a run? A team that lost more starters last year than all the SEC except for Georgia and State??? A team who couldn't decide on a QB until we'll into the season? That would be AlafrickingunstoppableBama, who has a coach who does not accept excuses and PLANS to beat his opponents any way he can.
Damn all these excuses! Sure we don't have the depth on the DL but use the weapons you have to try and exploit your opponents' weakness.

Or you can do what LSU does and trot the SOS out there. When it gets shoved down your throat you can say "well frick that didn't work. Maybe next year".

I hope someone calls Les out on yet another lackluster effort in the biggest game of the season on his show tomorrow night. Of course we'll hear the same old Quality opponent, want to expect to get an opportunity garble come out of his mouth. Dammit!

Melt's almost over.

LSU looked like a pee wee team. The stage is too large for Cam The coaching is to blame whey did we not attack 1 on 1 on the outside more why did we not try stretch plays, counters why not go back to the circle route to LF7 This coaching staff is just not good its not LF7's fault, he doesn't call the plays.

Well said...and accurate

95% of the people on here have never played sports(football especially) and don't know shite about the game.

Yet they can recognize shite that Miles can't! WOW!!! I think you are on to something!

Yep.

The head coach is 100% responsible for everything that revolves around the program.

That was the mindset in "03" as well. The coaches were aiming for "04". Good things happen when good talent meets good coaching, even if the talent is young.

Odd that you never see quotes like this after wins around here.

Particularly since that idiot Alleva would probably hire someone like Tyrone Willingham or Turner Gill.

Probably the thing I understand least about this offense. Harris has a gun and loves to shoot it, touch passes are a problem. The box is crowded due to LF7. Let Harris throw that dart to the outside with a WR rub on DB and give your athletes room in space.

It plays to QB's strength, our athletes strength, and keeps D's honest cheating on LF7.

Just my armchair QB opinion

If we are so young this year then what was the excuse for last year when we must have been a veteran team? We can't be young every year.

Former LSU RB Harvey Williams stated on 104.5 this morning that LSU looked like a little league football team against Bama. A lot of former LSU players and current LSU fans I'm hearing are still very upset with Les Miles. You can't go anywhere without hearing them talk about Miles, not about LF, not about Arkansas, it's all Miles! I still respect our coach, still don't want to lose our coach, but I hope Miles is aware he's losing the respect of a lot of loyal fans. To be honest Miles hasn't had this problem playing any other team, and Miles didn't specifically rule out changing schemes against Bama, but he better rule out ever showing up against Bama again with just one scheme to beat them, or he may lose way more than just the game.

I know TD. wants LSU fans to move on, I wish we could, but it's hard to ignore.
