Which makes him throwing his helmet down and crying after the play all the more brilliant!! What an excellent acting job!

I honestly think that the more time passes, the more I'm starting to lose my mind just thinking about this crazy shite and trying to process it.

I'm kind of surprised no one has said this, but it's very clear there were 3 seconds left when he just chunked the ball back there. I'm pretty sure JJ would have gotten the snap off. Sure there is a chance Jefferson would have screwed up, but there wasn't 1 second, there were 3 seconds. Jefferson and Ridley lined up at 4 seconds, and he immediately snapped it. If he would have snapped it half a second earlier we would have gotten a false start penalty and I think that would have been game over, correct?

Jefferson finished 3 of 10 for 30 yards and two interceptions and came up just short when he kept the ball on an option on second-and-goal from the 1. There were 28 seconds still remaining, but suddenly LSU's offense appeared to have no idea what to do. With the Tiger Stadium crowd screaming frantically for LSU to run a play, Jefferson wandered about before finally hustling to the line of scrimmage in the shotgun formation. Seeing the final seconds melting off the clock, T-Bob Hebert snapped the ball, saying he did not want a repeat of last-second blunders that cost LSU in an infamous loss at Mississippi last seaso
He did not see that UT had 13 guys on the field, but he knew if he did not snap that ball they would lose the game. So he did. I even read another quote where Hebert said he was shouting "C'MON!" in the final seconds.
