App state was rough.
My tickets are in the north endzone. The 2:30 Florida game last year was directly into the sun the entire time and it was a beat down. We left early in the 4th and it felt like we had been in an oven.

2008 app state... in the sun
It felt like there was a huge hole in the field going directly to the core of the earth

It's 2008 App State hands down. Worst sustained heat I've ever experienced. Everybody I knew that went to the game had severe sun burns afterwards as there were zero clouds that day.

The absolute hottest most miserable LSU sporting event ever was the 2nd and 3rd games of the 2001 Super Regional at Zephyr Field vs the weenies..
shite.
The extra innings regional marathon against Jacque Jones and USC in 199x in an oversold Alex Box was WAY worse.

I was at the App state game and I really don't remember it being that hot

There was a game vs. Texas A&M when Curley was coach. Horrible. The last game my dad went to.
-----------
Yes. 1992. Afternoon kickoff. First game of the season I believe.
Hot.as.balls.

It was a 7:00 kickoff, though. I remember it being hot, but not like Mississippi State 2004 (and others) with kickoffs in the 11:00 am to 2:30 pm range.

not a home game but at Auburn 2006 was like 97-98 at kick off. Heat index over 100. People were passing out all around us.
