The long run was all Beckwith. Had nothing to do with the line. Go back and watch the play. He never moved and allowed himself to get reached

Also, we finally rotated in bower and Neal last night. If we can go back to our 8 man rotation, we will be a lot better next year.

Our DL did ok, but we still let a big run right through the middle and for some reason our LBs/Safeties were no where to be found.

That was Beckwith's fault, not the DL. The dline was better than okay; they were awesome...as they have been since the Auburn game. We are going to have a dominant defense next year if we can find a couple of corners. I'm assuming we lose the two Jalens and Rashard. That leaves one proven corner and some unproven young guys. I'm sure we'll have the talent, but will we see critical blown coverages?

TD run wasnt on DL.

No LB and no safety in the middle - aTm got it blocked at the line and on the edges - extremely well executed play called specifically to take advantage of our formation - at least one of those guys has to get back inside to make the tackle.

It happens...

We will have the best defense in the SEC for a while.

LaCatoure, Rasco, Godchaux - all of them, really have been doing their jobs - occupying the line so the LBers and Adams can make tackles. Even Hunter has been better against the run this year, which was a knock against him in the past.

The key change was Beckwith starting at mike - I thought the problems were more than just Welter in the middle, but he was obviously one of the bigger parts of our defensive woes. Great kid and solid contributer, but just not physically up to playing in the SEC. Will be a coach someday, I'm sure.

F*ck me - I forgot all about him. I'm not sure he would have made the difference, but it would have been nice to see. Even though he redshirts this year, I see him gone after 2016 - just so few players with that combination of size and skill (based on HS and projections of course - he has to show up and do his part and not do the great Freak Johnson disappearing act.)

Our d line gets no pressure whatsoever.

Don't be a football newbie.

Just because the DL line does not have gaudy sack stats, does not mean they do not get pressure.

Hurry the QB to check down and so on all happens.

DL line was getting pressure last night until Aggies started to put 6 on 4 to give Allen time to make all the reads. Even then, the QB had a hard time and had to make just perfect throws.

They will still get gashed by bama and other good teams.

Bama had 106 rush yards against us. Their second lowest total of the year (other was 86 against Arky). You want to say anything else stupid?

Look at the offenses we face. We will not face a decent passing game (Johnson could be good at Auburn, but he loses Coates, Duke and Bray this year), until....??? They only legit passing threat I see on the schedule so far next year is TAMU. Everybody else is losing a QB, 50 WRs, or both.

We get Toliver coming in next year and Cutrer from JUCO. We also have Thomas coming back from injury and Paris will be here. The secondary is stacked dude. No need to worry about that at all.
